DS was my first homeschool kid - we pulled him out of public school in the middle of 5th grade when he was struggling. He homeschooled 5th-8th, then went back to public school for 9th. High school has been a pretty big rollercoaster - ups and downs - for him and he decided to come back and homeschool (thru a charter) for his senior year. DS18 is my musician, actor, mathematician who definitely marches to a different drummer. He will be heading off to college in the fall. :party: (3 down... one to go!)
