She asked me what happened and I said I didn't know where it was, because, honestly... I didn't know where it was. At that point in time. I did eventually come clean, though. We teach our kids that if your intent is to deceive, it's a lie, and I want to set a good example, so I told her I gave it away. She was mad for a while.
