Georgiana Daniels
If it matters to you, then it matters. OTOH, if it doesn't matter to you, it might matter to someone you love, and by default still matters to you. Then again, if it doesn't matter to you and doesn't matter to a loved one, you're off the hook :D
Daisy
My laid back husband would answer with, "Rarely." On the other hand, I'm a little more passionate about life and might reply with, "Likely!"

SeekingSimplicity
It's all perspective. If you think it matters, then it does whether it does or not. If you don't think it matters, then it doesn't and even if it really does matter, then it still wont matter. Uh. Yeah.
Julie in CA
It probably matters less than you think! (That's how it always is for me)
KidsHappen
IMO, very few things really matter but the things that do matter, REALLY matter. You know? :tongue_smilie:
Wildiris
In the end, when you laying on your deathbed, nothing matters anymore. But in the here and now, somewhere in mid-life, somethings matter a whole bunch. Most of the time it think it is the little things that matter the most like remembering to say I love you or I missed you or any manner of thoughtful words or deeds. Just listening matters. That means keeping your lips zipped and listening. Can you make a difference? Can you make it better? If the answer is yes, then it matters. unsinkable
Tom Petty says it don't really matter. We got somethin' we both know it We don't talk too much about it Yeah it ain't no real big secret all the same Somehow we get around it Listen it don't really matter to me baby You believe what you want to believe You see you don't have to live like a refugee Somewhere, somehow somebody Must have kicked you around some Tell me why you wanna lay there And revel in your abandon Listen it don't make no difference to me baby Everybody's had to fight to be free You see you don't have to live like a refugee Now baby you don't have to live like a refugee Baby we ain't the first I'm sure a lot of other lover's been burned Right now this seems real to you But it's one of those things You gotta feel to be true Somewhere, somehow somebody Must have kicked you around some Who knows, maybe you were kidnapped Tied up, taken away and held for ransom It don't really matter to me Everybody's had to fight to be free You see you don't have to live like a refugee I said you don't have to live like a refugee

Kristin in Hawaii
I remember having a bad day at work and an older friend told me... "Don't sweat the small stuff. And it's all small stuff." As an ER nurse, I can't always agree but... I have to remind myself that many times... it really doesn't matter :)

LittleIzumi
If it keeps you up at night, it matters. For me, it only matters if I'm awake. (Too much overtime until 2am.
