  1. My ds used Writing Trails in American History, that made outlining so simple. He learned to outline without stress and completely understands the process. Writing Trails in American History By: Laurie Barrie Logos Press / 2000 / Paperback 5 out of 5 stars(2 Reviews)$14.99 (CBD Price) Availability: In Stock CBD Stock No: WW5473119
  2. My ds recommends Rainbow:001_smile:. He had sort of participated in the Apologia GS with his sister a few years back and wanted something of his own.
  3. What a sweetie he is. I'm so happy to hear he is gaining weight and making progress with breathing and feedings.
  4. History is an easy addition, especially if you went with living books. You could simply read lots of library books, and have her discuss, outline, or do papers on them. Don't be too hard on yourself either. Just keep going.
  5. Happy Birthday~ Cake...lots and lots of cake and a spinach-dip-bread-bowl.
  6. I'm hoping to read a good answer here. I'd love to match our hardwood kitchen floor throughout the downstairs.
  7. Many parents would thank you for skipping them, I know I would.
  8. Wonderful! Consider putting some big container on the porch that your dog can't get into if possible and post a mail and packages in here please sign on it. We have no no cover on our main entry and packages get rained on, snowed on, frozen, melted etc. Our regular mail man is wonderful, but the fill in carriers are :tongue_smilie: less than stellar.
  9. :grouphug:Kathy:grouphug: I'm so sorry for your loss.
  10. I'm sure it will be beautiful, but it just doesn't have the fairy-tale magic of Diana's wedding.
  11. Loveless marriages have been around for centuries, but I would not want one. I feel for your friend, but divorcing is something only the wife and husband should have a say in. I agree it is awful watching a friend suffer.:grouphug:
  12. I would enjoy the option as the mom of a middle school and high school student. ( I spend most of my board time on the hsboard or the general now, and the K-8 is an occasional pop-in for me.) The current board often is filled with questions that we just haven't addressed in years here, not to mention specific curriculum questions and opinions that I've never seen. Now I do believe an experienced btdt voice is an asset, but my experience with pre-k - grade 5 is just outdated. I do remember this discussion/wish from a few years ago, and it was shot down. This is still the best homeschool board hands down imho;).
