EKT
S/O of previous post... It looks like Amazon has some glasses on offer that seem okay, but I was just wondering if anyone could share where they got their glasses and if they are happy with them. (Nasa's safety recommendations here.) Thanks! Edited August 1, 2017 by EKT
8filltheheart
I ordered these, https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01N9T9CZL/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o08_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 but I ordered them weeks ago and themprice was far less. Our local observatory is selling glasses. I would try that approach first.
Finlandia
I bought mine on Amazon. I just made sure they were one of the manufacturers listed on the NASA site. I ordered them about a month ago though. They might be harder to find now.
Rachel
Bought from Amazon, supposedly from one of the approved manufacturers but they haven't arrived yet. Our local Walmart had some too that were approved.
SorrelZG
The Lowes stores around here have glasses made by one of the approved companies (the same sold by some of the legit sellers on Amazon but I can't recall the name off hand) for a hair under $2 each.
Black-eyed Suzan
Our local planetarium had them in the gift shop. $2 each, iirc. You might call a local museum and ask.

Beaniemom
I ordered mine in June from Rainbow Symphony. They were on one of the suggested lists for purchasing appropriately safe viewing glasses. Our libraries are also giving out glasses on the day.
mlktwins
My Lowe's has a bunch in stock. They are $1.98/each.
mlktwins
My Lowe's has a bunch in stock. They are $1.98/each. Ordered 4 pairs for pickup at my local Lowe's this morning. There were almost 160 pairs available. I went in an hour ago to pick them up (I got my 4), but they are almost out already. That is crazy :-). They said someone came in and bought almost all of them.
2_girls_mommy
My dh was given two by someone, and we are attending a library eclipse party tomorrow that is giving them away. If we needed more our Lowe's did have some, but I think that will be enough for us, if we are gifted 3 tomorrow.
dsmith
We ordered these: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B06XQ5VK7C/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 I haven't tested them, but they seem to be the real deal. ETA: I didn't notice that they are out of stock now. Edited August 5, 2017 by dsmith

scholastica
We got Celestron glasses from OPT. We order telescope accessories from them. They are a reputable company and wouldn't sell anything not certified.
caedmyn
Walmart, $1 each. According to American Paper Optics which is one of the "approved" companies, Walmart and Lowes are retailers of their glasses so hopefully these are legitimate ones.
