fairfarmhand
We have 8 ewe lambs to name. I know one is going to be Daphne (It's a long story as to how we came up with that.) I'd like similar, mythological type names for some of the others. Suggestions?

momee
I like Ruthie and Macey and Chloe and Birdie and Lacey \ not mythological, sorry. Just very, very southern :) All friends from Junior High lol
raptor_dad
Daphne's a nymph... so maybe Electra, Merope, and then add the muses( Calliope, Clio, Euterpe, Terpsichore, and Thalia). I'd skip the other muses since they are less pronouncable and in my opinion less suitable for sheep ;)

sassenach
I have no idea what the origins are, but I connect Daphne to Tabitha. 70's TV shows/cartoons, maybe?

fairfarmhand
Thanks for the suggestions. We have 2 groups, traditional names...Millie, Molly, Martha Mythical Names... Penelope, Persephone, Daphne, Phoebe, and Thalia A random Skippy. :) (Related to the Daphne. Fans of the Andy Griffith show will recognize Daphne and Skippy) And when we get a ram, his name will be Apollo

raptor_dad
I'd do all the muses. There are nine, but that's close... I suggested that above, but I'll be disappointed if you don't choose Terpsichore... The muse of dance and delight... how could that not apply to a frolicing lamb.
