fairfarmhand Posted January 29, 2013 Author Share Posted January 29, 2013 I told my dh to bring home a Jersey baby if he saw one. I specifically said. "I don't want a Holstein." He watched this baby's mama be sold away from her and felt sorry for her. He bought her as the only bidder. He gambled that my sympathy for baby cows would win me over. It worked. :) She's a sweetie and she now thinks that I am her mama. He tied her to the gooseneck hitch in the back of his pickup and she stood in the bed of the truck for a while on the way home on the interstate. He said he got lots of strange looks from people on the road with him with this little spotted calf standing in the back of his truck on the way home.
