A twin size goes a long way! We had padding in the high chair, a spot on the wall, and the car seat at one point. Thankfully it's now limited to his pillow at night. Eta: my ds DID injure himself at 19 months with head banging. Only 2 staples worth on the back of his head, but i padded everything after that!
