MelissaMinNC
I'm the someone who wants Other - sorry. I LOVE chili with beans, but my husband is allergic, so if I ever make it for the family (rare) I have to make it without.
Daisy
For me, the whole point of chili is the beans. I want a meal that is cheap and stretches the meat.
ereks mom
For me, the whole point of chili is the beans. I want a meal that is cheap and stretches the meat. :iagree: Exactly.
MamaAkins
I make it with beans, because that's what my dh likes. However, I do not eat beans (nor do my 3 daughters). I would LOVE a fabulous, not too spicy, beanless chili recipe, if someone has one to share.

Blueridge
No stinkin' beans in my chili! Well, sometimes...
Ellie
Not having grown up in a family that had never eaten chili, ever, I thought *all* chili had beans. In our house it's more likely to be with or without meat, not with or without beans. I talk to the trees
If it is made to top hot dogs (which I'm actually not all that fond of, but this poll isn't about hot dogs,) without. If it is made as a main dish, with. (I'm an "other." Can you tell?)
MariannNOVA
beans
Ewe Mama
DH makes enough music without the beans. We would all have to wear gas masks if we made it with beans :glare:
PinkInTheBlue
IMO it's not chili without beans! Yucky without :)

H.S. Burrow
Do you like/make your chili with or without beans? With and without! Turkey Black Bean Chili has black beans, White Chicken Chili has great northern beans, but Venison Chili has NO BEANS. :D
Imprimis
With, and preferably meatless. :D :iagree:
felicity
It depends if I'm making regular chili or Cincinnati chili. I grew up on Skyline chili and had no idea people put beans in their chili or didn't put cinnamon in it until I was married and my dh made chili the first time. Matryoshka
For me, the whole point of chili is the beans. I want a meal that is cheap and stretches the meat. :iagree: Yep. Or I often make it meatless - if it didn't have beans, what would be left?

Guest IdahoMtnMom
WITH beans (red kidney beans, chili beans, and black beans)... and it's in the crockpot right now!
Slartibartfast
With, I usually use three of kidney, great northern, black, and red. I also tend to use different colored peppers. I like my chili to be colorful. :)
