AlmiraGulch
Ok, so I just saw someone else posted this on 9/3. Sigh. I'm always a day late and a dollar short. Well, maybe someone else, like me, didn't see it either. Carry on.

LibraryLover
I first read that about 15 years ago-- but it couldn't be that long ago/old, could it? Yikes. Whatever the timeline; the truth never gets old. :) Well, I supposed it gets old, but it is always true. lol Edited October 1, 2011 by LibraryLover

Lang Syne Boardie
They forgot one! Four to note that light bulb discussions on this particular forum used to be far more erudite and important. Forum is now going you-know-where in a handbasket and this light bulb thread is just one example. Don't ask me for more examples of dumbing down and poor discussion techniques, but believe me, I get pm's.

littlebug42
I was thinking that they forgot one as well: 5 members to post pictures of hot men in kilts totally derailing the resurrected light bulb thread until it no longer has anything to do with light bulbs.

LaxMom
This is obviously dated. They forgot the whole section where at least a dozen people derail into a melee (or is it a kerfuffle?) over the relative safety of various types of lightbulbs and government conspiracy to unconstituionally control our personal lighting liberties. lailasmum
(Sorry in advance if someone already posted this, but even if they did it's worth another laugh!) Fifteen to claim experience in The lighting industry and give The correct spelling They did this one wrong should be: Fifteen to claim experience in the lighting industry and point out they're called lamps. Well they are in the bit of the lighting industry I've been involved in. Call them light bulbs once and you are on the receiving end of a dirty look and treated like an idiot, call them light bulbs twice and you probably wont get re-employed.
