momof8
There are Magic School Bus science/literature units available through Rainbow Resource for $6.95 for a variety of different subjects just so you know. Thanks for putting this list together.
Satori
That is awesome thanks! This url might help out too, it gives summaries of each episode, as well as the primary topic: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_The_Magic_School_Bus_episodes I've been recording MSB episodes, we have 50 right now. Also bought some 3-pack DVDs on Amazon, and finally, I noticed NetFlix has a bunch of Magic School Bus movies as well.
walkermamaof4
they are free online Magic School Bus videos online http://www.veoh.com/collection/Magic...Episodes/watch# by the speaker there is a square hit that and it makes it full screen Don't let your kids look around this site on there own. I just went to the educational/how to video section and some of the videos there are defiantly not kid friendly. Bill Nye videos are on youtube. NavyWifeandMommy
thanks for the list. My daughter loved Magic School Bus but is no longer interested. I used MSB for K/1st grade science before I bought a curriculum.

jplain
Thanks for this link. But just a heads up: the 10 second commercial in front of the first episode I clicked on was not kid-friendly. (Very brief shots of simulated adult spanking and implied sex.) they are free online Magic School Bus videos online http://www.veoh.com/collection/Magic...Episodes/watch# by the speaker there is a square hit that and it makes it full screen Don't let your kids look around this site on there own. Maverick_Mom
One of my all-time favorite bits in a Bill Nye episode is in the one on the circulatory system -- a B-52 look-a-like group sings "Bloodstream" to the tune of "Love Shack."

Thank you! :iagree: Normally I'm not a fan of old threads dredged up by a newbie who is posting one or two sentences lacking questions, information, or interesting observations. But this one's worth seeing:) Edited June 25, 2011 by myfatherslily

Hunter
This thread needed a Bill Nye tag. When I searched for and then asked for a list of Bill Nye videos, no one knew of a list. Years ago I had a pdf put out by Disney, with everything listed by the some type of standards. It was a great list. I miss it.

Hunter
It's funny seeing a thread I posted two years ago, lol. I glanced at it and didn't recall starting a thread here recently. I'm so glad others have found it helpful. I believe I shared lists for Horrible Histories and Liberty Kids as well. You should see what it feels like to find your own 11 year old posts and threads pop up during a search :-0 It's a bit creepy and...also disheartening to realize 11 years later you STILL haven't figured it out :-
stripe
This thread needed a Bill Nye tag. When I searched for and then asked for a list of Bill Nye videos, no one knew of a list. Years ago I had a pdf put out by Disney, with everything listed by the some type of standards. It was a great list. I miss it. I was curious about this so tried to find it. I found these, which are multiple documents for each show, but they do have activities for the programs. They were originally put out by Disney, I think. I found a reference at the WayBack Machine (archive.org) for http://disney.go.com/educational/2002/billnye/billnye_standards.pdf <--- click here and I was able to get it when I went directly to the URL instead of through that site. I've saved it, so in case someone else wants it and it doesn't work, I can email it to you. It's a 2 p chart in PDF.
Hunter
Stripe, I could kiss you! Thank you!!!!! I never thought to use Wayback! I lost everything in my divorce and when I regain certain silly little printouts, recipes, books, it just feels so good. It's funny which ones affect me most. When I clicked on the link for the standards pdf I burst into tears. I'm not sure why, but for some reason, I guess I just really want this printout :-0 Thank you for your creativity and time. You made my day! :-)
