    When dd13 was in elementary we incorporated a lot of drawing in our studies. Drawing a picture of a scene in a historical fiction book, drawing different nature things. She did a study of flowers one year and read about different flowers, started a flower garden and drew pictures of them at different stages. :001_smile:

    We give my oldest $75 a month and anything over that he pays for himself. (excluding medical, food, clothes) We did buy him a car but he pays for gas and insurance. He's had a job sense he was 14 and we think it's important he learns how to manage money.

    If you want to I would go for it. I sent both my dd's to preschool and pre-k at our church it was 1/2 days 3 days a week and it was play-based and they did lots of projects. Dd13's bestfriend is her friend from preschool :001_smile: I've been considering sending my two little ones there starting this summer.

    I would take a pregnancy test just to make sure. I only had one light period around Thanksgiving after having my last dd. I thought it was just taking time to regulate and I was nursing but it turns out I was wrong! :001_smile:

    :iagree: My teenagers can ask me almost anything and I'll tell them the truth. :001_smile: I however grew up in a house were my parents pretended to be perfect even though my siblings all knew that wasn't true. :tongue_smilie:

    It ended up going away overnight but I took her to the doctor anyways and they ran some tests and didn't find anything abnormal. They do want to run some more tests. No idea what could have caused it. :001_unsure:

    Thanks I couldn't find the list either :tongue_smilie: But it looks like it will be in Michigan about 4 hours from us. Now I have to talk to dh.. :D
