I've been waiting for my package sent with amazon prime 2 day shipping for 5 days. I've contacted them, but still no package. I usually purchase most of my Christmas gifts at amazon, but I'm feeling a bit worried about whether I would receive my packages with carriers like this.

We don't watch TV here. We will watch or stream a movie occasionally.

My eldest 2 were more parent oriented, but my ds15 has become more peer oriented after being in ps for 4 years. Even though we have tried to keep it more balanced with him, he would much rather be with his peers than us. He is homeschooling this year, and I am hoping he will learn to enjoy us (meaning all of us) more.

Life was going to be a breeze with no high schoolers this year until 2 weeks ago when we decided to pull my ds15 from his rigorous charter school. I knew when he went back this year that pulling him would be a possibility, but I secretly hoped he would make it work. So, we are in a major transition for him. He has been in school for 4 years and is very much used to having his days scheduled. This was our first official week, and it is going surprisingly well. Right now, the plan is for him to go to another high school outside of our district next year. I couldn't get him in for this year because they aren't taking anymore students. I think I'm hoping that he will want to stay home to finish high school, but we'll see. I just hope his good attitude continues.

We lost 2 kittens (at different times) that way when I was growing up. Horrible experiences both times.

We have never met buyers or sellers. Closings have always been set at different times for us.

Considering that you just had a baby, I think you are doing great. Maybe you need a little more time before you are ready for all the demands of a new school year. Don't forget to take care of yourself.

My dds19 and 17 both start on the 25th. We had to get another car because their schedules are so different. I expect I will see them when they breeze out the door in the mornings and the evenings. I still can't believe I'm going to have 2 college-aged kids. It seems like time has really been flying by these past few years.

I have been called back for ultrasounds 2 times out of my 3 mammograms. Each time it was nothing. Hopefully, yours will turn out to be to nothing to be concerned about, too.

I love when people do things like that! We received a kind gesture yesterday. I took 4 of my kids out to Subway for lunch as an end to our first week back to school. Some man walked over and asked if they could have a cookie. Since I said yes, they each got to pick whatever kind they wanted after eating. It was such a nice surprise.

We are starting today, too. My ds15 goes to a public charter, and I will be homeschooling my 3 youngest. We will start with a few subjects this week and add more next week. I'm not ready to start. The summer seemed as if it flew by. Hope you have a great first day!
