TXBeth
I am writing from the hospital as DD is sleeping through Day 2 of her third chemo cycle (of 5 total). Day 1 hit her harder than it has before, with lots of nausea and vomiting and general misery. She also really does not want to be here. BUT.... Repeat PET/CT scan today showed ZERO cancer activity in her body. Lymph nodes are half the size they were, and lesions on her spleen are also dramatically reduced in size. This is a great early response to treatment! She'll finish the five cycles of chemo but most likely will not need radiation afterwards (to be confirmed by the final scan in August). Thanks so much to all of you who have been thinking of and praying for her!
