I used to write instruction manuals for Acer Computing when I lived in Taiwan. 

Imagine a twenty-two year old on their gap year writing the manual - there may be no English-speaking editor and the writer is having fun.

I was thinking maybe an internally circulated version as a joke, having co-authored a gag document once for a prickly, semi-misunderstood co-worker we were trying to win over (with boss permission). It worked, lol! He even played Santa for the Christmas party for employee’s kids later on (and was marvelous).

Boy do we need this sign where I live. A family from Rochester Hills bought property here across from a beef ranch/farm, and then petitioned the township to run him out of business because smells and "doesn't look pretty". Well duh! Yes. He was laughed right out of the township meeting.

good, I'm glad he was "encouraged" to *assimilate* with the culture that was there when he moved in.
