Pegasus
Wow! That is great. What a nice way to relieve the anxiety of the last year. Good for him! Definitely worthy of a mom brag. I sincerely enjoy hearing these mom brags. We often lean on this board for advice to problems/issues or just to vent, the positive posts help provide balance.
Hoggirl
Congratulations! But, mostly, I can't believe your son is a senior already! I know! He will be home after Labor Day for a couple of weeks before he starts back, so not "technically" a senior yet. Ha ha!

Lilaclady
Hmm. I'm not sure what you are referring to? He never had plans for a gap year?? Maybe you are thinking of another poster. I thought you had mentioned taking a "gap" year between finishing college and starting work. It just seemed like a neat idea. Maybe it wasn't you. Maybe it wasn't you. I did have a post inquiring about later start dates for commencing work - I bet that's what you're thinking of. The one about college grads taking longish trips before starting their "adulting" lives? Ds will do some sort of trip after after he graduates, but it sure won't be for a year! ;)
