Lizzie in Ma
Switched from Rod and Staff 2 years ago with my oldest and began 1st with the little one in it. It is a very thorough program and makes math pick up and go around here.
Closeacademy
Singapore as our main text. But if they are having trouble we jump to Rod and Staff to practice. I use Waldorf techniques to introduce and expand on new topics and Montessori ideas for using manipulatives.

gandpsmommy
Singapore and Miquon with dd. I'm not sure about ds, yet. We're thinking about RightStart.
fractalgal
Saxon and Singapore's Challenging Word Problems :iagree: The same here. My only alteration is doing the Saxon level one year ahead. For example, my second grader completed Saxon 3 and Singapore level 2.
TraceyS/FL
Oldest did Abeka thru 3, tried Singapore, then did Saxon 5/4 Middle is doing MUS (in no way could handle/do BJU at this point). 3rd will either do MUS or BJU, she can handle BJU, but i already will own MUS..... threetreasurs
We used Singapore Math in those years supplemented with critical thinking/mindbenders type workbooks.
AudreyTN
We used Singapore last year. My dd just doesn't seem to "get" math and my ds needs to have more independent work. So this year... dd will be doing BJU and ds will be using CLE 200.

clwcain
Just Right Start, for now. We'll probably add some "living math" books into the mix down the road.
kls126s
We're doing Saxon 2 with Singapore Challenging Word Problems too. We do Saxon one year ahead - level 2 for 1st grade.

My current 4th grader is using Teaching Textbooks 5 this year (after using BJU Math for Kindergarten through 3rd).
Sandy in Indy
Singapore with Rod & Staff for fact reinforcement. The plan is to finish Singapore 6B and move to TT Alg. 1.
AmeliaBinMO
We have had great success with using Saxon a year or so ahead of grade level here. We have used it since K, and next year will be at 8/7 for one child, and 7/6 with another. As long as it continues to work for my kids, I'm hoping to stick with Saxon for a couple of more years at least. _________________________________________ AmeliaB in MO (Laura in MO from the old boards)
Hoggirl
As an example, my ds did Saxon 3 in 2nd grade. Eventually, he got more than one grade ahead b/c, at the time (not now) we were doing math year-round, AND I would let him test out of the first 8 lessons each time we started a new book. As long as he got 90% or better, we just moved on. We did all of Saxon 3, but after that with every other book we started at lesson 41. We did *most* of 7/6 then switched to Chalkdust. Trivium Academy
We also read literary math books, some are at home and others I check out from the library when we come across a concept that fits the titles available.

Sarah CB
1st child - Singapore from K to 7 and still using it. 2nd child - Singapore from K to 2B, still using it. 3rd child - RS math A and B, Singapore 1A, mainly using RS but will transition into Singapore later. 4th child - likely a combo of RS and Singapore but I have a few years to decide :D
Mom2legomaniacs
MCP. Very pleased with it. Older ds is starting the last in the series (F) this year and has a great foundation.
Malenki
Saxon here. I heard so many things about it being boring so tried four other curriculums first before this... and DS is thriving with it! It's straightforward, not time consuming, and clear. At least, so far. :-)

amber in GA
MCP with my oldest (mainly because she was coming out of the PS and this flowed into what she was already doing better than anything else) and then she switched to BJU. My second child used Saxon My youngest child is using Singapore Oh, and my special needs son used Math-U-See for some of his years. We've been around the block when it comes to math, it seems! amber
