Leanna Tomlinson
Jean and Kitten, Those dresses would work, but they are out of my size!!! (I'm 5'9" and a 12/14.) I think the bag over my head is looking better and better. Then I can just cry, no one will see my makeup running, and no one will look at my dress. Pippen
Since you only have two weeks left if I were in your shoes I'd go ahead and order the silver and black plus the black version of the other dress from that site (that one was my favorite as well). Then you at least have something on the way while you continue looking.

This dress comes in Navy (up to size 12). Maybe your DD could cut it off for you and make it just the right length. That peach dress I posted on the last page comes in 10 and 12. I was wondering if you could dye it Navy blue? I think Navy would be the ideal color.

I think the bag over my head is looking better and better. Then I can just cry, no one will see my makeup running, and no one will look at my dress. Depending on how you carry your babies, maybe a forgiving non-maternity dress will work? I think I could have worn this dress mid-way in my pregnancies. It is charcoal and would look good with your daughters dress and should look good with the purple brides maids dresses. It is floor length, but can be altered to what ever you want. Nordstoms ships free/returns free, so if you don't have a Nordstroms in your area, you can order it just to try it on. Nordstroms sells nice clothes that will last a long time. It has great reviews at the website. It is a fairly classic style, so after pregnancy you could still wear it. Here is another that is similar. Alyeska
Do you absolutely HAVE to wear a dress? Could you find a nice blouse and slacks? When I was 7 months pregnant and attended a very formal Christmas party, I could not find anything that fit well...I have the opposite problem as you...I am short. So everything I found was too long. Not to mention, I was huge. Simply huge. In the end, I found a gorgeous long blouse that came down past my hips and matching slacks. It was very comfortable, formal enough, and I was able to wear flats instead of heels. :)

Buy the dress, wear it proudly and show off your pretty bump! I'm sure the wedding will be lovely. You need to wear what YOU like. I like the one you linked, but am not a fan of most the others that were posted. It's all about personal style. I don't wear purple, others love it. KatieJ
Since you are tall, I would go with a longer dress. Mother of the Bride is in a different category than the rest of the wedding. You should wear what you want/need to and longer seems more appropriate in this instance. Mother of the groom can wear whatever works for her too. I don't think you all have to match in length or color. I wore black to my son's weddings, as did many of my firends. (Their childrens's weddings) I also ordered online, and ordered many dresses and mailed back what didn't work. You don't have time at this point to order one and then keep ordering. Place several orders today and enjoy that wedding!

You would still have time to have it shortened, and you can wear it again after your baby is born. Congrats on your pregnancy and dd's wedding. *********
Motherhood Maternity has this cute pink one. Or this blue one they have is cute, too. This one's cute, and looks a bit longer.
KungFuPanda
Here's the link to the lace dress you liked: http://www.canadapromdressesonline.com/maternity-evening-dresses-in-gorgeous-styles/ What if you buy the too-short one you liked and get your seamstress daughter to add some sort of trim to lengthen it? That would be fast. Did your bride-to-be daughter have a coordinating color suggestion that she liked. If she likes green, it can go so nicely with purple . . . or whatever other color she likes. What are her wedding colors?

BEAUTIFUL!!!!! You could get it quickly, too, and maybe hem if the bump makes it rise too much in the front. That dress is SO pretty! jujsky
Do you think you would look better in it than the model? The way the waist is cut and the contrast of the 2 fabrics make her boobs look like they're hanging kind of low. It's not very flattering on her at all. Leanna Tomlinson
So, I ordered the original black/silver dress. It arrived today. It won't work. I liked the way it fit from the waist down, but it made me look way too busty on top. I also struck out at Nordstrom. I tried on the dress that Tap Tap linked and several others. I think my belly is too far gone to go for anything but maternity. All the dresses pulled too tightly and then the backs fit poorly because my belly was pulling the fabric to the front. Also, I think I have bigger bOOks than the models. I was showing way more cleavage than I feel comfortable with. I'm not comfortable with strapless or one shoulder dresses, especially since the bride and bridesmaids have sleeves. I don't mind sleeveless though. So......I think dd #2 is going to make a dress for me - sleeveless, empire waist, knee length, and simple. I already found a pattern. I hope to go Wednesday and find fabric. My mother is pulling her hair out because she's nervous that it won't get done, but I promised her I would not go naked to the wedding. :) Someone suggested navy and I think that may be the way to go. I just couldn't find a navy fabric at the closest store that didn't look almost black. So pray for dd#2. She is an excellent seamstress, but she cannot be hurried. She has to finish her dress and the dress of one other bridesmaid. I'm last. Next week is hectic with all kinds of pre-wedding stuff. This week I have and ultrasound one day, a prenatal appointment another, and dd has a shower on Saturday. I might lose my mind....... raceNzanesmom
My sister was married on the 16th. Both moms wore some black. My mom's was black and white, his mom's was mostly black with a bit of white and silver. Their colors were deep purple and silver with a bit of bright orange (Asian lilies). The men wore black, so it all fit nicely. Add the right accessories and you'll be stunning. ETA: I just read your update. I'm sorry! Hoping you find the prefect dress- soon!
