Jeannie in NJ
red is my very favorite color of hair. Also I have curly hair the same length as Shaun's but mine does not look as good as his. Every time I see him, I wonder " what hair products does he use" lol.
dirty ethel rackham
I agree - cool hair. I keep trying to convince ds13 to do that with his hair rather than the long bowl cut that crowds his beautiful face. If he is going to have long hair, do it right:). (Actually, I'd rather he have short hair, but this is one area that we are not willing to fight him.)
Rhonda in TX
I was trying to get DD to notice his hair, but she was more interested in the drawing she was working on. LOL Did you see the interview about his mom taking his medal to the cleaners to get the ribbon cleaned? What was she thinking???
MBM
Yes, I like the color especially. Back in high school, we had a boy in our class with gorgeous auburn hair -- it was a little less red -- and hazel eyes. The combination was so striking. Jeannie in NJ
the kids and I were cracking up over that interview and especially when he said that his mom kept going on about being charged $10 to have it cleaned. Actually if I had been the cleaner I would not have charged anything , just would have taken a picture of it, maybe even a picture of me wearing it. plansrme
Did you see the interview about his mom taking his medal to the cleaners to get the ribbon cleaned? What was she thinking??? I was just going to post this. I've never been a Shaun White fan (I did not dislike him, just never paid too much attention), but the part of the story about his mom griping because she paid $10 to have the ribbon cleaned, was just precious. It made him sound like such a good kid, especially that he was able to tell that story in a way that was respectful to his mom. I just burst out laughing. That sounds like something my mom would have done.
Donna T.
Yes, I love everything about him. He's a sweetie.
Imprimis
Yes, and my kids are huge Shaun White fans. We watched him in the X-games a couple of weeks ago, but, unfortunately missed him in the Oympics.
MeaganS
Actually, I hate his hair, and it's not for any reason that's his fault. Every time I see him I think of Carrot Top, who is one of the most annoying performers out there. He seems like a nice kid, so it's too bad he looks like Carrot Top. 3lilreds in NC
Yes! Having 3 redheads myself I think it's quite fabulous. He's fun to watch.
cassiemc
His hair is the exact color of my oldest son's. I love that he has it long and is not trying to hide it. :)
Hockey Mom
I'm a redhead, my Dh is a redhead, and my boys are redheads. I'm partial to redheads. ;) I love Shaun's hair, but more importantly, I love how he's making red-headed boys "cool". :D
Granny_Weatherwax
I just watched him receive his medal and really looked at his hair. OMG, if I let my bangs grow that would be my hair. Ugh! Time for a style change.
Stacia
Yes, his hair looks so shiny & healthy. With all the endorsement deals he will be sure to get, my mom & I keep saying he needs to advertise hair products. LOL!

Dinsfamily
I do too, but my 5yo is another story. He said, "is that a boy...doesn't look like a boy. Why is his hair like that?"

(I'm not typing it out in case I'm wrong.) I'm pretty sure they are just referring the to the swear words. I actually heard that whole thing while watching the Olympics and would not have really noticed if they hadn't brought attention to it. I agree with the article, by the way. AFwife Claire
I do too, but my 5yo is another story. He said, "is that a boy...doesn't look like a boy. Why is his hair like that?" Yep, my boys agree with yours! "Doesn't he know he looks like a GIRL?!?!" It is an absolutely beautiful color, and obviously in wonderful, healthy condition. I'm not a fan of long-haired boys either, though.

jenL
It's funny that the OP posted this as just last night when we were watching an interview with him, I told my Dh how he has my hairstyle, but my hair does not look as beautiful as his. I would also LOVE to know what hair products he uses. :) He's so incredibly talented and much fun to watch!

Shaun White does have nice hair--similar to my own curly red hair, actually--but I don't love the long hair on guys either. Kind of funny, since I'm a bit of a hippie
