Old thread, I know, but FWIW, my mom just sent me this:

So my 9yo wanted to shower after skating last night, and when he was done, said he wanted to be sure he put on deodorant in the morning because he thought he'd have basketball during gym today and he was going to play really hard and didn't want to stink.
Are you saying this will end?
I read a lot of twaddle when my dh is away and I'm relaxing before sleep. I think it is a gift that your dd chooses to read for enjoyment, and as such, those are certainly age-appropriate books. I don't think anyone wants to read assigned books all the time. Choosing books that are enjoyable is also a skill that needs to be developed.
My go-to is nut roast. A combination of nuts, carrots, milk, and bread, and I usually serve it with a tomato sauce. Even my carnivorous, that's-just-gross, BIL loved it. Darned near ate the whole thing.
I line the pan with foil, put meatloaf in, freeze, remove from pan, finish wrapping in foil, label, put back in freezer. If I used anything except foil, I'd worry that I (or DH!!) would forget, and put it in the oven.
Not possible that I'm aware of.... Unless you get an app that would record a "screen shot" of whatever is playing (can't think of the words!). Then you'd have to record while the video played.
Two boys, only answered once.
DS7 met his future wife when they were 4, in preschool. They do not date; they are not boyfriend/girlfriend. They are just simply getting married when they are older. It's the fourth year of this, and neither has wavered. C'est un fait accompli.
DS9... He is in a class of 20, with 6 boys in the class. I think he's just overwhelmed and outnumbered!
Peter and the Starcatchers (and the rest of the series) if we're talking about enjoyment over pure quality. We're on Peter and the Secret of Rundoon now, and the boys are still laughing out loud and begging for more chapters.
