I will be honest and say that the last two nights have not been any better.  She was extubated yesterday and I had high hopes but she is till just so uncomfortable.  She is leaving ICU and moving to a regular floor tonight and once agin hope springs eternal.  I am praying a for a good night of sleep.

Maybe less hustle and bustle in the regular ward will help a bit.  :grouphug:

I’m so sorry! How old is your daughter? Do you have any local support? I’m hoping the regular ward will allow you to rest some more.

She is very weak and tired and has a long recovery ahead of her, but is so glad to be home.

Best wishes to her - well, to all of you when I think about it - but especially to/for her as she recovers.
