OnTheBrink
That is all. Agreed. Which is why I only have 3 boxes of them coming this year.
GailV
How I cured my Thin Mint addiction: Trader Joe's Candy Cane Jo-Jos and Back to Nature Fudge Mints (currently on sale at Whole Foods for cheaper than our local GS Council is charging for Thin Mints, plus healthier, plus they taste better) We ordered ZERO boxes of Thin Mints this year. I'm over the Thin Mints.
Tracey in TX
ITA. That is my single biggest food weakness. Delightful and sinful. Such a shame we know it has calories. I believe that in this case ignorance IS bliss. That is all. ;)

Alice
Did you see the government is trying to poison us thread? I think Thin Mints are proof of where the real conspiracy lies....the Girl Scouts are trying to make us all fat.
KidsHappen
Yes, we received our two days ago and they are already gone! As a matter of fact, we got two boxes of Thin Mints, two of the Trefoils, and two of the Cameroons and they are all gone. I also order Do-Si-Dos but I have put those away for awhile as I want to make sure that there are no problems with them before we eat them. I figure I will give it a month and if no one has gotten sick or died then we can eat them.
littlebug42
The bakery for the GS cookies posted on their website that all of their peanut butter cookies are safe as no products came from the questionable peanut places.
RoughCollie
GS Thin Mint Ice-Cream is great too. Edy's makes it, and it is only on sale during GS cookie season (Jan-Apr). They make ice-cream with the Samoa's too.
Saille
How I cured my Thin Mint addiction: Trader Joe's Candy Cane Jo-Jos and Back to Nature Fudge Mints (currently on sale at Whole Foods for cheaper than our local GS Council is charging for Thin Mints, plus healthier, plus they taste better) We ordered ZERO boxes of Thin Mints this year. I'm over the Thin Mints. Wah! I miss Wild Oats more than Whole Foods, but we *also* have no Trader Joe's, and that's just horrible. I keep emailing them to whine about opening one in Syracuse or Albany. (I did order some Thin Mints this year.)
Kim in Appalachia
I think I could eat the whole box in one sitting. The only way to prevent it (other than not buying them.:D) is to let my kids get at them first.
lynn
I have not had a girl scout come by this year. I am waiting for them to start selling out side publix...or maybe not;):001_huh:
OnTheBrink
Alas, we have no Trader Joe's nor Whole Foods. It's NOT FAIR!
Unicorn.
I got breakfast in bed yesterday. Guess what was included-- yep, thin mints. Dd's made me pancakes, w/ a thin mint on top, a bowl full of orange slices, w/ thin mints around the edge. Pretty smart of them- they knew I wouldn't get mad and I wouldn't eat cookies for breakfast, so they got to eat thin mints for their breakfast! muffinmom
An evil little redheaded girl rang my doorbell last night and dropped off several evil little boxes. Just when I was getting back on the exercise bandwagon. :glare:
