For years, I've bought Lane Bryant bras, but in recent years they've gone downhill - wires popping out, rough fabric, and elastic stretching prematurely are my main complaints. I tried Torrid and found cheap elastic, as well. So I am on the hunt for a top-quality bra. My requirements: Fits a large bust (40DD), underwire, excellent support, unlined or lightly-lined. Good support, pretty colors, comfortable. I did have to size up a band size (look at how they measure because it is different than most). I didn't get the right size the first time, but free returns/free shipping, and they were very helpful. They shipped out the replacements before they got the return. Since then I got another one, but these are kinda pricey, so I'm getting one when I catch them on sale. I'm hoping they have a Black Friday sale! ETA: I prefer a front closure, and this is one of the few brands that offer front closure in the larger sizes. I have no idea about the longevity of these bras. I bought 6 bras from this last year, and the quality is not what it was when I purchased from them a couple of years previously. The support wasn't there, and I had an underwire issue. It is different from that of most places (much smaller band size and larger cup size) and I personally found it leads to a much better fit.
