frugalmamatx
I've a big pack of beef stew meat that needs used. No idea what to do with it - I was thinking stew, but it's warmed up and I don't feel like stew / chili / soup. It's decently big chunks, and a big pack so would probably be several meals once I prep and portion, so whatever I do needs to reheat well. Any ideas? Annie G
I’d make a beef stroganoff type of dish (and sadly I’d have to leave out mushrooms for my family) because it freezes well and it can be served over noodles, rice, mashed potatoes, etc.

SparklyUnicorn
Hm. Well since that cut needs to be cooked long, it is ideal for stuff like stew/chili/soup. Maybe cook in the slow cooker and shred for tacos?
Bluegoat
I'd probably still do a stew, since the meat is usually better slow cooked, but I'd do something to make it seem like a warm weather dish - like make it a Mediterranean stew. or, chili. HomeAgain
I do kabobs. I marinade them for about a day and then have everyone build their own skewers with the meat & veggies.

6packofun
I get a pouch of Korean BBQ type sauce and throw it in the crockpot. Eat over rice with a side veggie.

I get a beef bulgolgi / Korean BBQ simmer sauce. I serve it over rice with broccoli. Yum!
Suzanne in ABQ
How about curry?
Reefgazer
Two other things I do with stew beef: I dump it in the crock pot with cream of mushroom soup, beef broth, and onion soup mix and cook on low for 2 hours. Then I dump the beef and gravy over mashed potatoes. Sometimes, I put the stew beef in a casserole dish with a bit of broth, onions, carrots, cut potatoes, and celery and cook in the oven. vmsurbat1
I concur with the curry suggestion and a another real winner over here is Greek-Style Stew--the week I served it for a Fellowship Lunch, I had many people ask for the recipe. Although it calls for a cheap pork cut, beef would work fabulously. https://www.seriouseats.com/recipes/2014/03/drunken-pork-stew-in-red-wine-recipe.html

Night Elf
Don't do what I did! The very first meal I cooked when I got my own apartment was a dinner for my boyfriend. I didn't know what to do with that stew meat so I breaded it and baked it. He was gallant trying hard to eat it and it was terrible! I sat at the table and sobbed. He did most of the cooking after that. :)
Soror
If you cook it in the Instant Pot it makes it nice and tender. I cook mine about 25 minutes and then it is perfect for stir-fry.
