From Heather:

"I have been in another world (the crazy world of caring for two people, both with Alzheimer’s and dementia) for the last 6 months. We just placed Mom and Dad in a memory care facility a few weeks ago he has been so mean and combative. Then, our whole family got the flu.

If you want to fill everyone in, feel free. I hope to have a life again in the near future lol, and to be back to ITT. I miss you all.

H"

Oh, big hugs from us!!!

So Junie - what's new?  We missed you and the others who weren't ITTexting.

I still have six kids.

I decided not to do testing while the forum was down, so we will be doing that in two weeks.

We are transitioning from winter clothes to spring clothes.  This takes forever and has been my main project for the past several days.

I had a couple of doctor's appointments last week.  I am having an MRI on Thursday to see if we can figure out my headaches.  I am hoping to get a referral to a headache specialist in The Big City.

Dd7 read Charlotte's Web. Where is that puffy heart emoji when I need it?!

I went shopping with dd15 to find an Easter dress for her.  We had a really nice time!

My update for those who were missing in action:

Juliet has grown about three feet.  OK - not really, but she has grown.

Dd got a chamber of commerce award for community service.

Ds is still battling insurance companies for reimbursement for the car that got totalled.  He's also started a new quarter of college and is back to working half time.  Busy, busy, busy.

Dh and dd have signed up to run a half marathon in six months.  They are doing a slow but long training program for it.  This is dh's first half but not dd's.

Last night was day 78 of my continuous step goal

Good luck!  I hope they can help.

Updates on mis Lubbitos y yo:

Whole30 weight loss was 8 pounds the first week and 4 the second.

Mary has just barely begun sounding out words.

We're starting 2nd grade and kindy when my dad leaves in 3 weeks because we're starting a million new things and it will make me happy to just call it a new year.

We have decided to spend another year in Oregon for for 2 reasons. 1. We technically have the money to move but with no wiggle room and we're uncomfortable. 2. This will be our only summer here where finances won't be so tight we can't afford to do *anything*. We have wanted to do so much but $50 and sometimes $10, just aren't available and that is no longer the case. So we'll be going to the aviation water park, getting a zoo pass and going to the beach frequently, as well as a few other things we haven't decided on yet. We will also go on a date or two which we haven't been able to afford to do since I was pregnant with Mary.

Way to go, Mary!

Slache, fwiw, I think waiting a year to move is a sound decision.

We also think the actual move itself will be easier. The baby might be potty trained, he'll be in a bigger car seat with more room, I'll have more time to clean out all the things. Also, a full service move is only about $500 more than doing it ourselves, we just didn't have it. Now we will.

I don't have a location.

I almost listed it as:

Location Unknown

But I truly feel like I'm from Mars some days.

Maybe I will update every day.

I don't like the new automatic spacing when you hit enter.

I have a feeling that we all belong to all clubs right now.  I'm sure that they aren't done with that part of the fix.  At least I hope that is the case. . . What I'm wondering about are my private clubs that should not be visible to others. . .   (Chronic illness moms and the Bible Believing Christians group both share personal information with each other.)

I haven't been actually able to access any of the club posts myself.  Have you?

If you are looking for something interesting to watch on Amazon Prime, check out The Barkley Marathons.  Unbelievable.  That's where we're backpacking next month.

Your family is not like my family.

Mind you, we're not doing The Barkley Marathon, just going to that place!  ;)
