Dmmetler
I'm wondering how this is going to work as far as licensing goes. CB already has a lego-compatible Doctor Who line. They are hard to find in the USA, though. Personally, I'm glad to see Lego doing one, because CB is downright deceptive IMO on their packaging (a photo on the box will show the entire rainbow of Daleks on the "Dalek lab", but the box only contains one Dalek, the Weeping Angel set shows 11 and Amy, but only contains the Weeping Angel. In all cases, it's on the box, but usually on the back in relatively small print. Lego is very, very clear on their packaging as to exactly what parts are included. Dmmetler
We have some of the BBC Doctor Who lego type things, will these be compatible? Those are the CB ones, and they should be. The CB minifigs are a little taller, but otherwise, should be the same scale.

The article I read said that the license for the CB figures expired a year ago and that BBC decided to switch to Lego. I think that has a LOT more to do with this than any sort of "Legos Idea Program". I am sure Lego has been hankering for Doctor Who for a while.
