rootsnwings
ok, so as a spin-off of the rainbow resource thread, what is on your homeschool wishlist? I know I have a running list (at rainbow, amazon, oriental trading, etc) and would love a thread where we can share our ideas. I don't have time to post everything right now (NAK!!) but will get back to this thread in a bit! What have you been wanting to get for your homeschool? momto2Cs
(Dover) coloring books, Andrew Lang's Fairy books, better art supplies, blank books from Paper Scissors Stone, a new (laser) printer... I'm sure I could think of more given the time!
In2why
I am lusting for the NEST Animated Hero videos. Our library doesn't carry them, I can't justify the cost, and I don't know anyone who has them well enough to borrow them.
Satori
Well, I could list my 300-item wishlist on Amazon, but that would be too much. :) Lots of books, puzzles and games. A smaller wishlist on Rainbow, about $75 worth and I need to double that before I order to qualify for free shipping. Mostly ETC and little gadgets like country flags, bare books, Tunza cards... A color laser all-in-one printer was on my wishlist for my birthday next month, but DH got my present early!
Roxy Roller
I am lusting for the NEST Animated Hero videos. Our library doesn't carry them, I can't justify the cost, and I don't know anyone who has them well enough to borrow them. We have all 50ish NEST DVD's - I splurged on them a few years ago. The cost was over $1200 Canadian, but they are one of the best investments we have ever made. My children watch them over and over and they have learned so much from them. My wishlist has 'Teaching the Classics' at the top.
Closeacademy
My wish list: Elsa Beskow's books that I don't have D'Aulaire books that I don't have a sunny classroom with lots of wall space:tongue_smilie: The Complete Book of __________ series of books Quite a few Hands of a Child lapbooks Some really obscure Waldorf books that I can't even interlibrary loan to look at. paper dolls for historical periods that we don't have Stockmar watercolor paints Stockmar stick crayons (a full set) wool roving--carded and washed but not necessarily dyed Otherwise we are pretty happy with what we have. It would be nice if things were all in cute matching patterns (red and purple) but we do OK with our cheap refurbished stuff.:001_smile:
