SeekingSimplicity
I don't know what I want for breakfast, but I'm pretty sure it's not anything we have here :D I'm trying to talk myself into getting interested in this greek yogurt, but it's not happening. I may go grab an apple and an English muffin instead.

fivetails
2 cups of coffee, a glass of diet pepsi, and a tea biscuit with peanut butter. I'm such a health nut. :tongue_smilie: kids: dd13 will prolly have cereal & grapes & ds11 will likely have pb toast & grapes. Much better. ;) dh: doesn't believe in breakfast. leaves here at 4am and consumes vast amounts of coffee on the way to, and at, work. Usually eats lunch. When he remembers. Your coffee and pepsi all had water in them- so you've got 3 serving of water out of the way. Peanut butter is a protein, and wheat is a vegetable, right? My dh has nothing but coffee for breakfast too, and drinks it all day long. I tell to drink water. He say I am! That coffee's got water in it. :tongue_smilie: He's goofy.

So I just need 5 more cups of coffee - I suppose I could swap one of those out for the Monster drink in the fridge too eh? :D
thescrappyhomeschooler
Bowl of Kashi Go Lean Crunch cereal w/ vanilla unsweetened almond milk, 1 banana, 1 glass of orange juice. GailV
Refried beans heated up and wrapped in a tortilla with some Monterey Jack cheese. Decaf green tea on the side. This will be followed, most likely, by a shake of vanilla yogurt (full fat, of course), banana, chocolate sauce, and chia seeds.
Homemaker
This morning I made spinach and ham (leftover ham) scrambled eggs with whole wheat toast (made white for the husband) for myself and the family.
dangermom
Kasha, cooked in milk, with walnuts, dried cranberries, and a little bit of honey. Yum!
nmoira
A boiled egg, oatmeal porridge, mango. Also for me, coffee... it already feels like a two cup morning.
Shelly in the Country
The kids had Apple Jacks, yogurt with homemade granola and bananas. I've had just the Apple Jacks so far.
Just Robyn
For me - a caramel macchiato. For the kids - their choice of oatmeal with honey and milk, or peanut butter toast and a cup of milk.
ahousefullofjs
How about a breakfast cookie? I just tried this recipe yesterday. It's very easy to adjust to your liking. I sub'd apple sauce for the date puree, honey for some of the brown sugar, used WW flour instead of white, added flax meal, etc. Everyone loved it!! :)
Tutor
Oatmeal with brown sugar and cream accompanied by sliced apples or bananas (I haven't decided yet... guess I should get on that seeing as it's almost 10am  ).
FriedClams
Today - strawberries, clementines, fresh banana bread (made with fresh milled flour and sucanat so no regular sugar), slice of cheese.... Yesterday - dunkin donuts :) I'm an intermittent healthy eater trying to reform.
Tap
I am sure you have eaten already but we had oatmeal with apples and cinnamon. Then a bit later a Toasted Nuts and Cranberry Luna Bar with a cup of Orange Dulce tea from Mighty Leaf. Apples dunked in yogurt is really good if you haven't tried it before. Rasperry yogurt is my fave for this.

OnTheBrink
Bowl of Kashi cereal (I can't remember the exact title--it had currants and walnuts in it), milk. Wheat, btw, is a grain, not a veggie. :001_smile:
BikeBookBread
Today we had oatmeal and strawberry-orange-banana smoothies :) ETA: We have scrambled eggs more than once a week, and often have whole wheat blender pancakes or french toast using up leftover bread. creekland
I had two fried eggs, fried ham, fried mashed potatoes (leftovers we had to use up) and a slice of whole wheat toast with butter. This is more or less my new normal since I read the study from UAB about eating fat in the morning to change the metabolism. I've lost 8 lbs since reading about it without doing anything other than changing when we eat what. I'm hooked. (I have wondered if my scale is wrong, but hubby's lost weight too - yet the cats and boys are still the same.) It sure beats my old normal (toast and/or English muffin or bowl of cereal) in taste and it's definitely more filling!
wy_kid_wrangler04
I had a breakfast burrito-- scrambled eggs, turkey sausage, cheese and salsa with a 7 grain tortilla, 1 of my sons had scrambled eggs and the other 3 had oatmeal with honey, brown sugar and vanilla :D
