  1. Amateurs!!! My dog would have swallowed it in one gulp.

That's a lot of weight to gain from inactivity alone.
  3. It should show up in ITunes. Or click on the far right, the button that show downloads and if you click on it, it should appear. If none of my ideas make sense there are YouTube videos explaining how better than I can :)
  4. I sold my house while living in it (2 kids, large dog, 2 cats) Everything in closets got packed into boxes and stored. Empty closets look larger. I packed up 3/4 of kitchen stuff and stored. This was a royal pain but worth it. Knicknacks, books, etc all got boxed up. Got rid of some excess furniture I was not planning on keeping. My house was so empty (in boxes) that people thought we had already moved out. Luckily it sold in one day :)
  5. I was making a pound cake for the school bake sale. This was a big deal because my mother did not/would not bake and so I was so proud to do this alone. I'm yelling at my brothers/father not to breathe/move a muscle because my cake had risen and I didn't want anything to happen to it. I walk in kitchen, open oven door to admire it and accidentally let the oven door slam shut. My cake went flat and I was in tears. I think I landed buying something pre made for that stupid bake sale.
  6. We have 2 Sprouts in my town and I rarely go. There is always a line at checkout. Like Costco sized line. I also have Trader Joes, Whole Foods and Natural Grocers in town. My foodstore is super nice and the produce is not prettier nor cheaper at Sprouts.
  7. Go to Wal Mart or Target and walk around. Go the mall and walk. I actually don't feel better about going if I really don't want to. I'll be all sluggish and pissy and mad at myself :)
  8. I moved 2000 miles. I used movers. Be prepared for your stuff not to be delivered on time (mine was 2 weeks late) I started several months in advance and was ruthless in my purging. We had so much stuff from when my kids were younger nobody cared about. I went to town dump everyday and free cycled like crazy.
  9. My son had a stomach bug and we were at CVS buying medicine. As I'm talking to pharmacist he throws up all over his puffy down jacket and all over the carpet. Cleanup aisle 10!!!! I felt terrible but the assistant manager actually said something rude to me. I was like yes I drove over here so my son could be dripping in throw up and mess up your carpet. I called customer service to complain and got a $20 gift card.
  10. Skip the pediatrician and go see a gastroenterologist
  11. I think the transmission just went on my car. Ughh.

  12. I had a glass front door shatter and I think I used a glass kind of store. I actually looked at ads in yellow pages. They came and measured and had to special order the glass.
  13. My daughter had 2 friends who did the shots. Both were around 5'4. Neither one seemed to have any issues doing the shots.
  14. We didn't get any extra vaccines. It's hot. Like hotter than hot. To visit temples we needed to wear long pants. It was so hot I was pouring bottles of water down my shirt. Very interesting to visit.
  15. I wa so frustrated with my son during 8th grade I printed out all the enrollment forms and filled them out. I then threw them in the garbage. 8th grade got done (though he refused to do Spanish) and I breathed a sigh of relief. Public school is not perfect but it is working for us.
  16. Loved the movie!! I'm on the waiting list for the book.
  17. Thanks everyone!! He had been feeling well for several months so accommodations never occurred to me. Then things started to backslide and I had a freak out moment. I checked deadlines and we should be fine. Phew.
  18. My son is a junior in high school and has Crohns. He is going to need to take bathroom breaks as needed and sometimes frequently during the SAT. Is there a specific department I need to contact? Will a note from Doctor be sufficient? He's not been feeling well lately and I'm beginning to worry.
  19. I'm reading The Stranger in my Genes. It's a true story and because of a DNA test he discovers at age 50+ that his father is not his biological father. I'm only halfway through so I don't know the whole story yet. It's really good though.
  20. Not so much a family "secret", it is just not ever discussed. My children don't know and I'm not sure if my nieces know.
  21. I was just coming on to recommend Trevor Noah also. I read the book and loved it but listening to him narrate the book is excellent.
  22. Weight watchers website is 1000% better than it used to be. I don't know last time I had an issue with it. I pay $19.99 for monthly online membership. They make any tweaks to the program once a year. So what you see today is the plan for the next 12 months. Totally worth it for me.
