  1. Have you tried J. Jill? I know they have what you are looking for and their quality always seems to be good. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Rhonda Shear bras at rhondashear.com. The Aah bra has no underwire but is very supportive and smooths my back and minimizes the girls. I wear the one with the removable pads just to cover the high beams. Oh, and they come in tons of colors and look like a tank top so it doesn't matter if it peeks out of your neckline. 3. I am currently witnessing in real life how things turn out when Daddy is Prince Charming and believe me, it is not healthy and everyone suffers. It truly is painful to watch a grown married woman be unable to cope without Daddy to take care of her. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. If you will be carrying it around a lot (like at college) go with the MacBook Air. It is sooo light and it has the solid state hard drive which is more durable than a regular hard drive. Definitely get as much RAM as you can so future upgrades won't be a problem. Also, check out Apple's refurbished store; I have gotten great deals there and they come with the same warranty as brand new. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. The biggest factor for me is getting enough exercise outside. Just taking a walk in the sunshine works wonders. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. If it is a good library, yes. If I tried to do this with our library my son would get a good education in pop culture novels and not much else. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Gap clothing runs long and they have talls that are actually tall. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Do not get any kind of hound, pure or mixed. Roaming is their MO. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Grrrr...that iPad thing irritated me and I am a Christian who believes in modesty. We are all made in God's image and that is true no matter what you have done or had done to you. Making people feel like worthless garbage because of their past is not Christlike. He hung out with the "undesirables." I have been guilty in the past of using analogies like the iPad one with teen girls but I have been convicted to never do so again. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Try looking up a recipe for cooked frosting that uses regular granulated sugar instead of powdered sugar. Those tend to be much less sweet than the ones with the powdered sugar. I have a good one but am not home right now to look it up. I can post it later if you'd like. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. My 14 year old thinks there is no food in the house if there is no sandwich meat. PB&J and grilled cheese do not count as food. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Joggers. Not my own personal taste but better than leggings as pants. They make them now in all different fabrics, colors and patterns so they can look a little nicer than plain old sweatpants. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. We are doing a Holt-McDougal course; the book was written for grades 6-9 and the online teaching resources have worksheets, activities and tests for varying levels. It's not exactly "put together" for a homeschooler but it is easy enough to just divide the length of the book by the number of school days. It's not a perfect option but it is difficult to find an earth science program for high school. I have no idea why. I took Earth Science in 9th grade not that long ago and I think it used to be pretty standard. You probably could just use one of the Jr high programs for 9th grade if one of them looks good to you. I think that 9th grade is not much different from Jr high. You could always add in a couple of research projects. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. I don't. I keep our checkbooks in my office next to the computer and I check our balances online several times a week. With online banking I see no reason to balance the checkbook. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. I don't have one but I do have other Nissan vehicles and they all get awesome reliability ratings, which is good for a teenager. You don't want to worry about it breaking down. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. Rhondashear.com. The website does use some sex appeal to sell but the bras are awesome...I wear the Ahh bra with the padding. No underwire and you can get ones with a little bit of lace seen over he cleavage area so it doesn't matter if they poke out of your shirt. They come in every color of he rainbow, are very supportive and are not super expensive Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. Make sure you are eating enough also. If you want to gain weight-even muscle weight-you must eat more than you burn. This includes carbs. It is a myth that muscle gain requires all protein and no carbs. Remember that food gives you the energy you need to lift and live life. I'm sorry for harping on this if it's not something you struggle with but I see so many women think that they can make significant gains on a 1500 calorie per day diet of kale and chia seeds. Check out the Facebook page for Girls Gone Strong. It is a great resource for lifting and eating for maximum gains. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. "Square shaped"...we must have the same build because that's exactly how I describe myself! These days I'm not so thin but when I was thin I was still a square with extra weight on my abdomen. It used to bother me but now I realize that there is no diet or exercise regime that will change my body's natural shape! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. Check out teachwithmovies.org. They have lists of movies organized by topic and time period and lesson plans to go with. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. Sure you can. Whether or not they will be visible completely depends on your body type and body fat percentage. I have some pretty good abs but I store fat in my abdomen. If I wanted visible abs I would have to get down to around 5% body fat and that wouldn't be healthy. Plus I'm too lazy and like pizza and beer too much. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. We have a Nissan Armada. It is a full size SUV not mid but here is why I am recommending: *It has a third row seat that folds down into the floor. I don't know if that is common recently but all of the other SUVs we have had in the past you had to take the third row out of the vehicle if you didn't want it sticking up into the cargo space when folded down which was a giant pain *At least around here it is easier to find a good deal on them because they don't seem to be as popular as some of the other SUVs that everyone is driving. *They get excellent reliability ratings among consumers; you basically have to get oil changes and change the tires once in awhile and that's it. I absolutely love the way it drives and handles and it's a nice looking vehicle. Gas mileage isn't great but that's an SUV thing anyway. It has full 4 wheel drive plus Auto 4WD which functions like AWD. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. The FICO score looks at how maxed out your credit is. If you have a $4000 limit and your revolving balances are always within a couple hundred of that limit it will lower your score; if you have a limit of only $2000 but your revolving balance stays below $1000 most of the time your score will be higher. You should be using half or less of your available credit at any time for a high score. So if you routinely charge $2000 a month then you should keep your limit where it is. We have been turned down for loans in the past and one of the reasons given was "ratio of balances to available credit too high." Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. I crated mine the first night we had her. She cried a lot and I ended up sleeping on the floor next to the crate for a few nights but that's all it took. Well adjusted dogs that were not taken from their mothers too early will usually have no trouble with it; their crate is their "den" and they like it. It makes them feel safe. My female no longer needs the crate (our bed is now her safe place) but our other dog will go into his to sleep even though we don't make him. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. I'm rather partial to Betsy as a nickname for Elizabeth and I also think that Beth and Liz are nice. But if it was me I would probably wait awhile and see what she "feels" like; it's likely that as you get to know her one nickname will stand out as the one that fits her perfectly. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  25. Paula's Choice CLEAR products are wonderful. Use them consistently and you should see results. If not, then it is probably time to see a dermatologist. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
