  1. I LOVE my Le Creuset. I have a giant oval roaster and a smaller round one. There is an outlet a ways from here too. I've been there. I got some itty bitty single serve things. The thing I love is it is easier on the sticking problem (and if you don't have that already you are in for a bonus.....I have a love/hate with stainless), and you can put it in the oven. I love my All Clad stainless, but certain things I do like a more non stick surface Oh and also if I'm short on time I'll mix a no kneed bread batter night before. Next day I can bake it in a preheated dutch oven and it's like the yummiest hearth bread.
  2. I'll tell you waht I do because my brows are very light. I hate make up but I wear just a bit. I use a good brow brush. Mine is Bobbi brown but you want one that is very thin and angled. And a shadow your hair color. Brow pencils work but the waxy ones look unatural to me. Just make little whispy tiny lines with the pencil, then use the brush and shadow to soften. They will grow back. I'm sorry, i've done the same. I had a bad eye wax once and I was mad. After that I just tweeze
  3. My go to things: Butterfly to make them even, stuff with cheese, roll up, wrap bacon around and bake Use in stir fries. Buttefly, make a quick stuffing of saute mushrooms/garlic/breadcrumbs, spread over the breast, roll up and tie with twine once. Bread and fry, or bread and bake (you don't HAVE to tie them if you bake because you don't need to flip them)
  4. I have SO much stuff. I just don't know if it's worth it to ship. I would love to give things to people here, but the shipping may be unrealistic for me. I have boxes of clothes and toys that I was ready to donate. I think you can only send books media mail? I just sent a baby quilt to a family member in the south and it cost me over $10. Is there a cheaper way to mail? I thought first class could only be letters.
  5. that's so pretty. WE bought our yearly "family" ornament. It is R2D2 LOL.
  6. This is completely crazy to me. I experienced the same thing. My highschool was FULL of pregnant teen girls that were thrilled. I am all for educating safe practices, because thinking all people believe in abstinence before marriage is just delusional. HOwever having an rx just incase, well to me it would make logical sense that STDs are going to be on the rise. I mean oops, I have a pill just incase, so we don't have a cond*m, ok no problem. Teens can be totally stupid and in the moment. If there is something that solves the pregnancy issue AFTER, I can imagine this creating more health problems.
  7. I've been waiting for my money back for YEARS. I think I want interest and a bonus too
  8. It's not just stuff. You are mourning the loss of things that had meaning in your life. I think it's different. You are allowed to cry and mourn. It's rough :grouphug:
  9. I have the Cricut. I NEVER use it. I mean I have probably used it 5 times. I have had it for about 5 years. I don't know what my point is LOL. Maybe I ought to take it out and let dd figure it out.
  10. I like Dolce Gabana. The original "The One" is my favorite.
  11. dd is always wanting to be picked up, snuggle, sit on my lap or lay on me. DS doens't because he is nearly my size, but he is a big time cuddler.
  12. You trust the GOVERNMENT ensuring all kids have a good education? Have you SEEN their current "doing" in public education? Frankly I'm not enthusiastic about the government'd current aid in providing ANY sort of education let alone making a lawful standard for it. You make more homeschooling regulations you screw the wrong people. Making "standards" means that if you are outside that standard you are in the wrong. Make a law for it and now you are doing something illegal. The same rights that protect crappy parents from not teaching their kids enough, protect me from doing the BEST for MINE. We do NOT need MORE government.
  13. I eat soup often for breakfast. Especially when it's cold.
  14. I was wondering that too. IT looks like a nice place to build forts. I'd be painting the ceiling for sure.
  15. I guess I'm ok with my kids making nothing of themselves.
