Yes,,,,,, it will take a little time.... but it will happen. We have a Weim! For the first 2 years or so, she stepped on our feet.... my kids would cry because it hurt so bad and would break their skin.... our Weim wasn't mindful of where she was stepping as a puppy.... she has now grown out of that phase..... she is extremely smart! and very protective of the kids and extremely sweet!!!! She makes us laugh all the time because she acts just like a person. We love her so much!

Yummy! What a wonderful way to spend the day!!!!

we make "ice" in plastic 2 liter bottles to use in ice chests. We have a coleman 5 day cooler..... it works for a couple of days.... 5 days in winter maybe! I've seen the battery operated tent ceiling fans.... i wonder if they work.... we enjoy our long handled campfire roasters. Great for marshmallows and hot dogs.

HELP-Screaming tantrums in almost 4 year old
cat replied to T'smom's topic in General Education Discussion Board
I would ignore his undesirable behavior... i know that is hard..... and I would strongly praise and reward all his good behavior. i remember that age, easier said then done.....what i do remember is i was so upset about the undesired behavior that when my kids showed good behavior i didn't praise it, because i was so exhausted..... -
Should Legos be "community property"?
cat replied to athena1277's topic in General Education Discussion Board
My 2 ds have tons of legos in plastic bins and they go thru them and share and make things.... once they've made something and want to keep it together, they put it in a safe place.... if they take it apart it becomes community property again. My ds's put their money together to buy sets.... they also will barter with each other if someone has something they would like to play with at the moment.. i let them work it out for the most part...... when they get grumpy i put a halt to lego playing until they can show they can get along. -

Question about Nature shows and copulation
cat replied to theYoungerMrsWarde's topic in General Education Discussion Board
all the nature shows get into this as it's all part of the process, so leaving it out just never really happens. i'm with the others..... when my kids were young they didn't really get it, so they didn't ask..... i didn't make a big deal about it, so it just went over their heads..... fast forward to yesterday, they were watching a nature show and it was very advanced, and quite interesting.... kids are 10 and 12,,,,, gee, they didn't ask questions, but i think they got it..... our big talk is coming sooooooon! anyone have any great books on mom's talking to their boys.... i think it's important to have open communication, just not quite sure how to approach it. -
stick with reporting her. i would not deal directly with her. let ebay handle it. i would advise next time to not lower your buy it now price.... i would tell them to just bid.... since it started at 50.00 and if no one else bid, she would get it for that..... stick with what you set first off....if not one buys it and you relist it, then consider lowering it....

try giving her hair a rest from hair drying, curling or other heat treatments, also coloring treatments or perms. If none of that applies, I'm with the others, try a new shampoo..... she might also be allergic to some of the chemicals, you might try something that is natural with no chemicals....try a health food store for some options.

Bringing the skeleton out of the closet
cat replied to Chelli's topic in General Education Discussion Board
My family and I would not attend the party if older cousin is there. You can not control who your mom decides to invite....you can only control if you go or not. I would guess your mom is in denial. :grouphug: -
I went to ship something media mail.... and I showed them what was in it so they could stamp it and they would NOT! This was last week..... I did not want them opening it because what I am finding, is that they seal it back up with CHEAP TAPE!!!! and it comes undone.... items fall out.....and then they claim that it was poor packing and that it will NOT be covered by the insurance that was purchased!!!!! I'm thinking I will need to duck tape the entire box that way I know that my items didn't just fall out because of MY poor packing!

do churches do free VBS anymore?
cat replied to shinyhappypeople's topic in General Education Discussion Board
I paid 15.00 per kid! I've heard of churches canceling VBS because they couldn't afford the curriculum.
