Sorry (hugs)

I get it sometimes. The last time it was bad, I had gotten bitten 4 or 5 times. Only one got really bad. It was hot, oozing, about 4 inches across and very swollen. I finally went to the pharmacy to see if they could help and they gave me an aloe gell with lidocaine and Benadryl. The Benadryl made me pass out ( I am very sensitive to medication) but it really helped my bite heal. I don't know why sometimes my bites heal after a few days and others turn into huge lumps and take weeks to heal.

I had "morning sickness" with both my boys, my second being worse. Ginger pills helped me greatly. I kept saltine crackers on me at all times. It helped a little to have a little something in my tummy but not to over eat either. Hugs! Mine wasn't as bad as some but it was horrible.

My only discovery is if I get out of bed in the middle of the night, by the time I get back my dh will have invariably moved to the middle of the bed. Usually I only leave for a minute and a half for a glass of water. I don't know how he senses that I am gone and moves over. He doesn't otherwise bump into me all night.

He might have his eyes dilated. My ds says the drops sting. Then explain his eyes will be sensitive but it will only last a few hours.

For mixes you can substitute milk for the water and butter for the oil. It will come out moist and yummy. Other than that follow the directions to a tee and it should come out good.

I've only seen them in white. If you are really artsy, I'm sure you could decorate them with sharpies or pretty labels. I'm not creative so I just use my label maker with a nice font.

I love using mason jars for this. They are clear so you can see how much you have left. There are several sizes of jars. They stack nicely. I like buying the plastic lids for storage because I hate the two piece metal lids. They are easy to label, either with a label maker or a dry erase marker for stuff that won't be in that jar for long. It also makes it easier to buy in bulk to save money, especially on spices. The only con to using glass mason jars is that they are heavy. You need to make sure the shelf will hold the weight. Have fun shopping for containers. :-)

I'm so sad about your Naked Palletes. You could try dropping a few drops of rubbing alcohol on each powder to sanitize it. On Pinterest, people use alcohol to repair broken eye shadows, so I know the alcohol won't ruin the powders. I personally would just wash your brushes with shampoo and give them a rinse in vinegar. You said the infection was bacterial, so soap and alcohol should be enough to kill it. But then again I am very frugal and I hate throwing away good makeup. Sorry you are going through this.

Yes, this morning I wandered around knowing that I forgot something, but I couldn't remember what. When I finally sat down again I remembered. When this happens, I find it helpful to go back to where you were before you went on your forgotten mission. I hate feeling old and I'm still in my 30's. lol

Not sure, but I have a tilted uterus and my early tv ultrasounds were clear. I don't remember seeing a heartbeat, though.

Tuna and pickles. Yuck! My boys used to love tuna out of the can. I hated draining it for them. I would throw the trash away quickly and wash their dishes immediately. I hate even the smell of pickles. I always ask at restaurants not to even put it on my plate because it is so unappetizing to smell on my plate.

We don't do tooth fairies here, but my boys have always expected a dollar under the pillow for each tooth. I have done both gift certificates and IOU's. For the gift certificate, I drew an ice cream cone certificate. My ds was very excited with it. The IOU I gave out just last week. I had zero cash and it was late. My ds didn't complain about it.

It not my usual choice, but I did read Abram's Daughters. It was sweet with lots of twists to keep it interesting, but I haven't read any other Amish fiction. I haven't read any of her other books because I was worried it would get repetitive and ruin the story for me. I think they would be fine for a teen to read.

I like adding flax seeds, chia seeds or spirulina to our smoothies sometimes.

I had a guy approach us in a parking lot and offer my boys a dollar coin. I was kind of weirded out at first but i could tell he was just trying to be nice. He told them he was giving them the coins because they were good boys and helpful to me. He didn't know who we were, but maybe he was just trying to do random acts of kindness. My first reaction is always to assume people have bad intentions, but I think it is sad not to allow people to be nice to you. I understand trusting your gut, but if you don't feel you are in danger, I don't see the harm in being nice for a minute. You can explain to your children that it might not be safe to keep stuff given to them by strangers. JMO

I don't keep the Internet connected on mine. The ads I guess all expired and it doesn't have any ads right now. I only connect mine every few months. I went crazy downloading a ton of books that I have never read, so they last me a long time. I also alternate between my kindle, audiobooks and real books. The ads don't bother me.

I have Pricemouse on my iPhone. I think I paid a few dollars for it, but it is easy to use and it does the unit calculation for me.

I love how she's wearing big jewelry and slouchy socks to exercise. Lol, it looks fun, but I don't think I could pull that off. Lol.

I would see if you or your family is allergic to birds. They create a lot of dander and feather dust. Birds are fun pets and require a lot of care and attention. Parrots can not stay in their cages all day they will need to play and interact with others. Have fun!
