:iagree: I wouldn't open up a big-drama discussion with a little one either. They are pretty easy to please, but asking them to give up something is almost always a recipe for tears.
On the question of counter-fit products, there was an Aldi / Trader Joe's connection. This was discussed way back when on the old board and the discussion prompted my to try Aldi's.
I don't buy a lot of canned or pre-made foods. One of our local Aldi's has a wonderful selection of fresh produce (most of which is US grown) and the prices are much less than even Walmart. As I mentioned earlier, I tend to go for the German goodies there..
I discovered Aldi while living in Germany. I wouldn't drive out of my way to get to one, but I do go to one of our three local stores every now and then. I love their German products.
I dread seeing it in black and white too.
Temporary for our government does not always = temporary; I think a lot of people hoped they would do a better job managing the mess.
Less money for us = less money and it's harder to stretch the budget as prices seem to always be going up, up, up.
I think it's just the way of so many people today :w00t: .
Free-cycle...gag. :iagree: People have a thousand questions, want pictures, can you deliver it, or hold it for a month?...People, it's free; isn't that good enough already  .
The list is for me, not my family.

I've grown to find those type of comments insulting for the most part, but I learned not to be drawn into defending hs. I've learned to laugh, and reply something like..."I'm not sure what you want me to say to that..Oh look, a bird."
