  1. I'll hope the school actually does something to stop it...other than mentioning a zero tolerance policy and happily letting it continue. Children shouldn't have to be the ones to stop bullying, the adults should do their jobs.
  2. Well, it's never to early to vent, but a drive way has to be cleared.
  3. I had the same question and felt the same way. (I'm guessing about the gifts thing, but when it mentions where they are registered; I'm just thinking that's why.)
  4. We get plenty of snow here, but I'm thrilled not to shovel or snow-blow that much snow. In fact, I can't imagine that much snow in one dumping. My heart goes out to everyone in the path of that one.
  5. I don't seem to catch the name changes unless someone's signature mentions something like....formerly B from B-ville.
  6. Sad, and a little on the mental side if she believes the two are equivalent.
  7. :iagree: I'm not saving any card or date until the wedding invitation arrives. I've got enough junk mail and paper piling up around here.
  8. My nephew and his bride sent out a save the date announcement. They figured the gifts would start arriving, people could plan and they could work on their invitation list. My understanding is the the save the date list was larger than the actual wedding invite list.
  9. I sympathize with you... Goodness, we purchased a pillow-top ONE year ago and it sunk like nothing I've ever had the misfortune of sleeping on. Since it was under a year they replaced it this past weekend. They wanted us to go with another pillow-top, but I said no way, not in a million years. You can try flipping it; I mean it's yours, but I have no idea what it would feel like. I was ready to sleep on the floor to avoid our one year old mattress that also begins with an S... You might try checking the warranty again. I spent an hour on the phone and then, we had to go through a bunch of paperwork and take specific pictures with a ruler showing the sags. (They offered having a technician come out for $35 to do an inspection, but I didn't want to risk more money on a terribly bad mattress.) Our bed looked like a cursive w, and no amount of rotating helped. We went with a cheap, simple firm mattress = hard-rock and topped it with a down-alternative mattress pad. We did have to pay for delivery, but I wasn't willing to spend another dollar on a mattress from that company. We have one mattress company locally that still makes a flippable mattress; that will be our next try if this one doesn't work out.
  10. Target has the stick on options; they're inexpensive. Target, Kohl's and Walmart have lots of clearance bras. I'd check out my local stores and look for the super discounts.
  11. :grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug:
  12. No, I wish though. We've got plenty of snow everywhere and more on the way.
  13. I'm happy to hear a little good news. Prayers...
  14. I'll say it taste fine cooked into something. I usually cook a meat and then freeze a little, but use the rest through out the week in other dishes. Example...Winter Sat or Sun Roasted oven chicken = dinner Then left overs... I clean the chicken and then make chicken stock with the bones, then I use the rest of the chicken in dishes like the following. Mexican tortilla soup shredded BBQ sandwiches Chicken Alfredo pasta chicken salad Other seasons, I like to have dh BBQ and then work out the meals. I don't eat meat for the most part and I'm not a big fan of cooking it either. Disclaimer....(Girls here are pretty much vegetarians, but the guys need the meat meals.)
  15. We usually do pizza for teens. They love it; it's easy to make and clean up after.
