  1. :iagree: I'd wonder how much she wants to sell it though?:confused:
  2. Corn bread! I make it with fiesta corn (drained) or salsa in it to go along with Mexican dishes.
  3. We use them and most are well worth the money. (I only purchase during the big sales.) I've never returned one, but one was a real yawner:001_huh:. LIBRARY...sorry to use my outside voice, but many have them. :D
  4. I wouldn't say anything. However, I'd teach him some ways to react, respond or ignore her through role playing. (Some people react with humor...winking at the sour-puss, or raising his eyebrows, returning the look, crossing his eyes or simply mentiong it to her etc.) "I hope your face doesn't get stuck that way:)."
  5. :grouphug::grouphug::grouphug: Some kids do that:001_huh:.
  6. Wow, it's a small world, and I hope it works out well.
  7. :grouphug:Some kids are just not prepared for these tests the first time around. Breath deep, and try to smile your way through it. Don't let them feed off your fustration. We test here because we must, and there were a few tears the first time around. Now they are just something we must do... Hang in there, things will get better.
  8. Veggie chili or white-chili are easy and yummy on a cool night.
  9. I waited too long, and still felt awful. It just such a difficult decision.:grouphug: What my head knew and my heart could handle was so painful.
  10. I love the pics... I'd go brown or a deep green to coordinate with the pillow. I love the fabric.
  11. I voted no, but for some it may help them a little; it just isn't going to reflect anything near a day in and day out homeschooling experience.
  12. She is too young...and it just so, so sad...:confused:
  13. :iagree: And will add in my tiny voice...some people aren't cut out to be parents. Just saying...:001_smile:
  14. Oatmeal for breakfast is cheap and filling. Beans and pasta are inexpensive and easy to make into different meal options.
  15. I almost fainted reading your post. Wow... My nephew 18 mo stuffed some of his Easter reese peanut butter cup up his yesterday.:001_huh:
  16. :grouphug:Your mil is being unreasonable and demanding. :iagree: Your dh, would be a good point man to let his mom know without you being the bad-guy, but I get that life doesn't always work that way. Boundaries, the book...get it from the library. Families grow, people change and doing what is best for your family is a good thing. Her way isn't the only way...you can love someone and not do everything their way.
