I commented on this to my children. The broadcasters made a big point of saying that King Charles III is the oldest man to be crowned king in England...he's still younger than our president!

I can't count that high! 🙂 Clothes and fashion are my thing...I view my wardrobe as something I've intentionally curated over time. I'm not buying cheap, fast fashion that's going to clutter up a landfill in a few months, so I don't feel bad about it.

I have really warmed up to him...everyone deserves a second chance. I really liked the theme of the coronation of coming to serve, not to be served. Of course, I'm an American, so my opinion doesn't matter, but I'm also an Anglophile, so I'm very interested by the Monarchy.

I have two days of special menus planned (for today and Revenge of the Fifth), and I even did a Princess Leia inspired Disney Bound to celebrate!

Here it is...I've never made it before, so I can't personally vouch for it, but all the components sound fantastic!

Since we like breakfast-for-dinner so much, I'm doing a fancy Easter brunch, but for dinner. Eggs Benedict will be the highlight, but I'm also doing scrambled eggs and bacon, waffles, blueberry muffins, a smoked salmon and radish puff pastry, and fresh fruit. If I hadn't decided on that, we would have done Greek...leg of lamb, dolmathakia, roast potatoes with feta, halloumi saganaki, spanakopita, and baklava for dessert.

I kind of collect cookbooks...fun themed ones related to books, TV shows, movies, and video games that we all like, and we all enjoy going through them and planning special themed meals. So, yes. 🙂

Linzer augen/Spitzbuben (Austria/Germany) are really good and beautiful, although the dusting of powdered sugar make them a poor car snack I suppose.

Hate is not a strong enough word. Mega-loathe might be closer, but still not quite strong enough.

Pizza for dinner, key lime pie for dessert.

That's my zoo! I think Ben is bored. I'm kind of concerned he may follow us home the next time we visit...

We pay for Amazon Prime, but beyond that, I'm not willing to pay actual money to someone else for something I can do for free.

I do, on holidays and any other day we deem special. We didn't register for china before our wedding, and I didn't think I wanted any because I was certain we'd have no use for it. DH's parents downsized and gave us their set, and I absolutely love it. Part of it is that it comes with a lovely story, but I also really love setting a pretty table on special occasions.

We love it in quesadillas and breakfast burritos (which we usually eat for dinner).

Next week I'm making Berliner, King Cake, and gumbo. I think that's it. I don't do it the same way every year, although I think the Berliner are probably a tradition now.
