  1. Yes. Pumpkin pie does not really expand.
  2. I started calling a pumice Stone the magic rock after it cleaned our toilet so well. I will second the recommendations about the magic eraser for the bathtub.
  3. Spoons is really fun and it only requires a deck of cards and some spoons. Plus, everyone is equal players from younger players on up. https://www.grandparents.com/grandkids/activities-games-and-crafts/spoons
  4. I hope your little mouse is okay. Please update when you know more.
  5. Nope. Ice makers in a French door fridge take up WAY too much room in the fridge where we need the room the most.
  6. Mine listened to Bunnicula at that age, but I'm not certain they have that on Audible.
  7. I'm interested in this. Last year we gave this fancy chess board to our chess loving son because we thought it would be nice for many years after he moved out. http://www.straightupchess.com/ We also have given a really nice bookshelf to our daughter. But I'm also interested in answers to this thread.
  8. In many ways, the email provides much clarity. This seems like a person who thinks about herself most of the time. You don't have to be involved with her. And, also realize that this might be a predictable pattern for her.
  9. A cute book on making cupcakes along with all different cupcake making supplies
  10. We use magic erasers to clean walls. But, for a big job I think it might be easier to color match and repaint.
  11. Hugs. I think in your gut you might already know the answer to your problem. I read the previous thread, and it does seem there is a bit of an unhealthy relationship vibe. But, reading these two threads it doesn't sound like this person is actually going to be a REAL true close friend of yours. I'm really sorry. Hugs.
  12. This is a great recipe! It's gluten free and vegan and super tasty! Maybe you can incorporate it somehow. Zesty Quinoa Salad http://allrecipes.com/recipe/229156/zesty-quinoa-salad/?internalSource=hub%20recipe&referringContentType=search%20results&clickId=cardslot%201
  13. I don't think that taking an outdoor cat and putting it in your house is a good idea. 1) Outdoor cat is not going to get along with your cat. We have introduced many cats to each other. In the best case scenario it too a couple of weeks. Then, we had two cats that about 4 months to even be in the same room without fighting. It took lots of patience and was pretty stressful. I'm not certain I would want to go through that for a cat that wasn't mine, and we would just be giving back. 2) I do not think that this is a good idea for said cat who lives outside to go to a brand new location and be locked in a basement. Stressed cats do weird things. We had a stressed cat lick all their fur off their belly one time. I do not have any ideas for you. But, I would seriously consider that this is not going to work out like you think it is.
  14. When you speak of inappropriate sounds in the middle of a regular conversation, that makes me think of tourettes. Could the inappropriate sounds be verbal tics? Sometimes the urge to tic is very great, maybe that's why he didn't care about appropriateness? Just a thought.
  15. Hugs. I have a kid with an asymmetrical head. I also worried that maybe I should have helmeted him even though the cranial facial specialist said he would be fine! So similar! I also tried as much as possible to keep him off of his head. But, mine is a teenager now. I can assure you I haven't thought about it in years, and nobody would notice it. It's just a non issue. The cranial facial specialist was totally right. His head isn't perfectly round, but especially as he grew older and taller even I barely notice it. And, other people just don't that much time looking at people's heads. So, hugs. I know how you feel! But, I've been there done that and everything turned out perfectly fine here. I would try not to worry. Definitely don't feel guilty. I bet yours will grow up fine too.
  16. There was a segment on NPR about this today. Basically, once you are REALLY good at something you get into this flow. Your brain is able to block out pain and stress. Honestly, I can't even remember what they said caused it exactly, lol (mainly, I was thinking that I wasn't REALLY good at anything) But, apparently, it is a thing and was on NPR today.
  17. My college age kids have a Moto G4 and a Moto G5. They are both very happy with them. They are both unlocked and seem to be good quality. Middle daughter got a BLU phone and didn't like it at all.
