Dmmetler
To widen his urethra and (according to the specialist vet), he's never seen a cat block again after this procedure. He'll be staying with the vet for a few days afterwards to heal (keeping a cat from jumping is hard), but hopefully after this he'll fully recover.

Innisfree
Sending lots of good thoughts and gentle ear scratches for Scooter. We had a cat years ago who did very well after similar surgery.
Catwoman
I am not obsessively stalking this thread for updates on Scooter. I am NOT. Ok, I might be but just every five minutes or so.

Dmmetler
Scooter is continuing to do well. He’s eating, drinking, peeing without issue, and is healing well, and being very friendly. Normally, he’d go home today, but since we’re at a conference, will be staying with the vet through the weekend with a handful of other boarders. Hopefully, this is now all behind us. 7
