Anyone have favorite ways of making cod? We have been mostly plant based for years and I'd like to start incorporating some fish back into my diet.

It makes nice fish tacos.

My husband deep fries it in beer batter which isn't exactly healthy, but tastes great!

I usually put filets in my air fryer with a bit of lemon pepper.

I mix up a homemade blackening season and then cook in my cast iron skillet or non stick pan with some butter/ avocado oil. Super quick and delicious!

Wrap it in foil and put a pat of butter on each filet.  Simple and delicious

I make fish tacos, but I bake the fillets rather than fry them.

A friend marinates hers in milk or buttermilk ( whatever one she has in the fridge) overnight, add bragg’s seasoning and air fry’s it.  It tastes incredible and melts in your mouth.

Our go-to cod recipes are

1.  Breaded and fried

2. Seafood chowder

and 

3. Jamie Oliver's Fantastic Fish Pie - I always to the parmesan option, but cheddar would be yummy too.  I tend to leave out the egg and the nutmeg.  I've even doubled the recipe and frozen it before baking. It's delicious as a freezer meal.  This dish is serious comfort food for me.

I use this recipe with black cod (aka sablefish), an oilier white fish than the cod you are using. But I think it might work nicely with cod too:

Pan sear with butter if bake with butter and lemon. Don’t overcook.

If you do dairy slather filets with sour cream and sprinkle with parmesan, salt and pepper. Bake until fish flakes with a fork and serve with lemon wedges. Simple recipe that’s scrumptious and much more than the sum of its parts.

We make a fish stew with cod that is basically potato soup but adding in cod as well.

That said, I keep seeing the title of this thread and wondering what cod is a hive code for.

I make a fish/white wine broth with sliced onions, garlic,herbs, capers, lemon juice, olives and then have it hot in the oven and put the cod into it, cook until almost flaky about ten minutes, serve with rice or risotto.
