Signature requirements?

So, sigs went away when the boards were down. Now they're back. Yay! I like sigs. However, mine is now way too big because hard returns now create an automatic space between paragraphs. So I went to edit it. But it's not letting me. It says that it can't have links. Except, if I leave it as it is, obviously it can have links?

Basically, other than no images, which it says is a rule, what are the rules for signatures now? Is this just a glitch or are there no links allowed in sigs now either?

Mine has my blog but no actual link for now until they fix it.

Hmmm. Since sigs are back, I hadn't checked the place for setting them. My old signature came back with the image I had. Do I need to delete it?

You can keep what you have but not edit it. It's just a part of the settings they have to work out.

I can't figure out how to add a siggy, can you point me in the right direction?

At the top of the page, right hand corner, click on your user name.  A drop down box will appear.  Choose the "Account Settings" option.  On the page that results, there are some options on the left hand side; "Signature" is one of those options.
