Best companies for mail-order FOOD gifts?

Recommended Posts

I used Huber's in Starlight, Indiana, last year and was pleased with them:

I also love ordering from Land-o-Lakes (best hot chocolate in the world):

I still order from both these places by phone, but I'm sure you can do it online, as well.

We have been ordering from them every Christmas for at least ten years. We have been sending it too family and friends for almost that long. And we get repeat requests every year. My dh told my kids that we weren't going to order from them this year and he almost had a revolt on his hands. They set him straight in no short order. They will be willing to forgo then entire rest of the holiday before they would give up Swiss Colony. Their Royal Chocolate Petit Fours ar to die for. We go through boxes of those each year. If you have questions about any specific item, just let me know as we have probably tried everything at least once. :)

It's a local coffee shop that roasts their own coffee daily. Every bean is fresh at 48 hours..

THey also have a huge selection of teas and all the coffee presses, mugs, tea strainers..etc.

They have nooks full of kitchen do dads, candies, their bagels are awesome, fudge, and a selection of cheese and deli meats.

THey do a huge business of gift baskets at Christmas time.

it's not exactly food but one of my brother's favorite gifts from me was a six month membership in a beer of the month club. every month he received gourmet beers from microbreweries around the world. he really found it interesting. there are also cheese of the month clubs and, ugh, cigars!

i'm not at the computer i ordered it from but if you're interested let me know and i'll look up the company i used. there are a lot of them out there.
