MomtoCandJ
Weather is so crappy right now, it's raining but will all freeze later today, we are supposed to have like a foot of snow by Sunday :(
AmandaVT
We've got a winter storm watch that could turn into an ice storm warning. I'm in VT. Right now it looks like the worst of the ice will be north of us, closer to the Canadian border, but we could still get up to an inch which would be pretty bad. Fingers crossed that we stay warm enough for just rain.
Alisa in Florida
This is why I love Florida - it's 82 and sunny today.
Mommy22alyns
Ours is just schizophrenic. 60+ today, 68 tomorrow with strong wind and thunderstorms, 60 Sunday, 40 Monday.

ChristineP
We are entering a winter storm warning tomorrow that will bring ice and snow (around 6 inches). Ugh. I still have shopping to get done.
Liz CA
We have rain that I wish was snow. But ducks typically like rain better than snow...
elegantlion
Weather is so crappy right now, it's raining but will all freeze later today, we are supposed to have like a foot of snow by Sunday :( Yup, us too. It's not raining anymore, it's just freezing. I've already salted my deck and stairs.
Dandelion
It's cold (and was snowing earlier) but it's sunny. I can deal with the cold and snow as long as there's sunshine. :)
Word Nerd
It'll be blowing in here tonight and tomorrow. I'm so glad I don't have to do anything this weekend except clean and wrap presents!
JustEm
I wish we were getting a foot of snow!!! Not so much the rain part though (I hate rain.) It felt like spring today in Delaware. And although it was nice I would rather have snow this time of year. Stay warm and safe!

wintermom
It's been snowing here all day - and we already had a foot of snow. I've shoveled the driveway twice already. Roads are crazy. The snow is supposed to change to ice pellets then it's going to freeze again. Yuck. I was getting excited to go skiing, but the ice will nix that. Ottakee
We had freezing rain today and over 300 school districts were closed---basically everyone. Still getting a bit of freezing rain. They said tomorrow during the day should be OK but then tomorrow night another 1/2-3/4 inch of freezing rain possible and then 5-10 inches on top of that. YUCK. We would be much better off with 15 inches of plain snow than the freezing rain.

Amber in SJ
Yes, but not in the way I think you mean. For eleven straight days we have had weak sunshine and not a breath of breeze or rain. This has meant an unprecedented eleven straight "spare the air" days. These are days where the pollution index is so high that it is illegal to burn wood in your fireplace, young children, elderly people and those with respiratory issues are cautioned to stay indoors and schools often do not allow outside recess. It smelled like burning chemicals when you step outside your door. We had our regular activities to walk to & I have developed a lovely respiratory infection. My very active son wore a N95 particulate mask to play outside and when he came back in there were dirty yellow ovals on the outside of the mask where his nostrils were covered. Today the wind picked up, it drizzled in a couple areas around the Bay Area and we are having a much better day today. We even went to the park. MomtoCandJ
I don't think it would bother me so much if the county plow trucks would quit throwing all the crap in my drive way which makes it about impossible for me to get out. I can't call my father inlaw to plow me out every three hours. Grrrr.
ThatHomeschoolDad
Almost 70 this weekend, which would just be rubbing it in were it, say, Miami, but I'm in NJ, so it's like whaaaa? Waiting for all the wooland creatures to be very confused.
blondeviolin
We're going to be getting a metric ton of ice. They are predicting widespread power outages. :-/
Amira
I'd be happy for some nice winter weather. It's perpetually in the upper 70s and nearly constantly sunny here. I'll take anyone's rain, snow, sleet, lack of sunlight, or anything else you don't want. I'd love to hole up at home with some Christmas music, hot chocolate, and the heat on while it snows outside. Mexico is not for me weather-wise (although it's perfect in just about every other way, so I'll stay here).
