Spring Flower
Does my "Just Visiting" status change automatically or do I have to manually do it myself?
StephanieZ
I think that's just about how many posts you have. Check under your profile, though, because you might be able to manually change it.
ChristineP
Me too!! I think it changes with post count :)
AK_Mom4
Keep posting! Join in the chatty threads and get that post count up. Once you hit a certain level, you can customize your title yourself and be cool like me!
Beth S
The typical WTM response is just to keep replying to THIS thread. The 2 of you can just go back & forth replying to each other. And then others will jump onto the idea as well. Merry Christmas, and we're glad to have you here!
Spryte
Yes, you could make this an incredibly long thread. Add some kilt pics and cupcakes. :)
ChristineP
:lurk5: Maybe some popcorn also! My college student is home now! She is only about 40 minutes away but this will be her first time for an extended time (more than a weekend or so) since she left for college. I know have a lot of laundry to do! It is fun to hear her working on a gingerbread house with her sisters. They are glad to have her home!
ChristineP
Wow...42000 plus posts. That is impressive. I can't even seem to get to a hundred. I often read a thread and think that I can't contribute much new to it so I don't say anything! I need to overcome that and just post :)

trulycrabby
Welcome to WTM! It's a great forum with a lot of smart, funny people. My profile still says "0 warning points" after almost 800 posts. I don't know how to get rid of it, but it's a good thing not to have any warnings so I haven't tried very hard to remove it. :O
ChristineP
I have a little photo now! This is of my first horse I bought as an adult. He is now semi-retired because he has some arthritis but he still has a lot of get up and go once he gets going! We have enough other horses to ride that usually he gets to stay home with the pony. Tiberia
You can get your post count up by adding witty, semi-helpful little comments to non-controversial threads. Then, when people "like" your post, you get points on your profile in the green rectangle. Then, when you really want to unload in a controversial thread, you won't be dismissed as a total newbie. At least, that's what some people do. :D Welcome to the hive!

Everyone sees it on their own profile and doesn't see it on anyone else's profile. To change your title (in general)? You click on your name up at the top, when you get the drop-down menu, click on "my profile." When your profile opens, you'll see a large box with your user name. Just above that and all the way to the right, you'll see "edit my profile," click on that. You can edit your member title there (I'm just not sure if there is a minimum post count in order to do this).

Guest
I don't see a photo. Yeah, I don't see your photo. Spring Flower
I'd like to raise my post count too. I've read these boards for years - in fact, I started reading when the boards had a different format. I've only recently started posting on occasion. It looks like you are a Hive Mind Larvae and you only have 30 posts. Did you change it yourself?
