My dad had fluid removed (several times...his was due to a heart valve blowout) and I was there when they did it. I hope yours was as uneventful as his was and that you felt as much relief afterward as he did. I'm praying for speedy healing and for a miracle of rest (!) for you while you are in the hospital.
