KungFuPanda
I have a bum knee that rarely gives me trouble when I'm dancing 8-10 hours a week, but just loves to throb when a storm is coming. It's really annoying me now AND I've got some weird head pressure (no pain) going on. I think this makes me an official geezer :-)
LaxMom
I've been having the pressure with the wacko weather changes we've been having lately, but not this one (irony).
Slartibartfast
Brr! It is cold and rainy here! This is our first hurricane season living on the East Coast. When there is low pressure my back tingles where I pinched a nerve a long time ago, it happened on the same day we got some bad storms. I am in SC and we are not supposed to "get it." Snickerdoodle
The winds are starting to pick up.
LaxMom
It's been raining over here on the shore since around 3 this morning, and it's definitely clammy. The wind hasn't even been up to normal storm standard yet.
TravelingChris
I am far away but we are getting increased winds and yes, I have a bit more arthritic pain- I have RA.
Snickerdoodle
Wendy, you're right. I haven't noticed our little bird neighbors all day.
Coffeemama
I just went for a brisk walk with my daughters before we are cooped up for a few days...it certainly smells like a storm and the winds are picking up here in MA.
justamouse
Me. MY freaking head has been pounding like a drum for DAYS. Winds here are not to much gusting, but constant. Edited October 28, 2012 by justamouse
KungFuPanda
I'm in central Maryland. It was nice this morning, but in the last few hours it's gotten much cloudier, a bit cooler, and the wind has started blowing. I guess I'd better finish my laundry :-/ We usually don't lose power in my neighborhood, but somehow ignoring all of the warnings seems like asking for it. DH just walked to the store for soda. Yep, Emergency Storm Soda.
Chris in VA
(I bought soda, too...:D) I had a migraine yesterday. Never connected it to the pressure/weather, but maybe!
Reflections
Not a single bird. Yesterday they were flying in large groups. And yes, if my ears pop or pound one more time I'm gonna scream! I guess, I am in the old geezer category now too. The wind has been steady since early this morning. We are not supposed to get the brunt of it - and not anything until Monday night. Chris in VA
It's still right now, too--was blowing a bit earlier. A little eerie, to be honest!

Yep, Emergency Storm Soda. We don't usually, either. I ran out and got emergency storm cider, earlier, when my husband was down at the pub watching the Skins game. I also put in an emergency stash of craft supplies. :D
TravelingChris
This summer, Ivan hit near us - well much closer than Sandy will. I had severe arthritic pain for about a week since that is how long our pressure was affected. I also get migraines before thunderstorms. mom2scouts
Yes, I'm a walking weather station. Maybe I should say "limping" weather station. My head is hurting and my knee and ankle are throbbing.
abdesigns
YES! I have Lupus and fibro, and let me just say, This is the worst pain that have had yet (besides childbirth). I am in a severe amt of pain. Not happy.
Sisyphus
Not me, but my poor arthritic old dog is gimping around like she ran a marathon. She's had a double dose of pain Meds, with no relief. Poor old dog!
delaney
Head feels bubbly and a bit off today. The birds have been non-existent today but I did notice for the past 3 days they were nuts with the noise all day.

Amira
My weather barometer son has had a migraine this evening.
Stacia
I had a horrific headache Friday & Saturday. It finally went away this morning. I think it was because of all the barometric pressure changes. Sandy has passed our part of the country now (further north of us), so I think that's why my headache went away too.
