chickenpatty
Editing to add: a big THANK YOU to the people who posted yesterday and offered suggestions/links. They were really helpful!! Yesterday I asked the hive for tips on making a wall style (?)(board & batten??) in my kitchen. Well, today, my 11yr old son & I got it done! I just need to paint it again and clean up my mess. I'm redecorating my kitchen and this was a big first step in that process. I'm so proud of my boy - he is so good at stuff like that & he did most of the work!:D Edited January 12, 2012 by chickenpatty

Jennifer in MI
That looks AMAZING!!! Seriously, I am impressed with your work. So, what power tools do you have? I did this in my dining room: I'd like to do the same sort of thing in my living room, but much bigger (there is no chair rail. I also did this with my son! Isn't it GREAT doing it together?
