5wolfcubs
If you haven't done chemistry, I can recommend The Elements as a semester course! Rainbow Resource sells it. For a struggling speller, Apples Spelling (RR again) is good, for a non-struggling speller I'd work on vocabulary or Latin instead.

Donna A.
MFW ECC with junior high recommendations AO Year 7 Science: First half will be a mish-mash of things from ECC and AO; second half (when we're through with ECC), we'll add either Abeka or Apologia Math: First half will be a mish-mash of things that she's working on now; second half will be either TT or Saxon. LA: LLATL Green Wordsmith and/or Writing Strands I don't think we'll be doing formal Spelling or Vocab this year. We'll have enough spelling and vocab with everything else! Bible: MFW and AO recommendations Music: Piano lessons; composer studies and music from MFW and AO Art: Artpacs; art with ECC; and I'm not sure what else P.E.: Not sure where we'll be living after September, so I'll think about this subject later. She'll also be starting Latin and French, but haven't decided what with yet.
Maverick
Ds just finished 7th grade on Monday (yay!) We loved Rainbow Science--I highly recommend it. We've done A Beka grammar for years but next year are going to start Analytical Grammar. I've already read through it and I'm excited to do something different than A Beka. Ds will be happy to have less writing and fewer sentences to diagram! With my older one I used Apples spelling--it is good remediation for an older student that struggles. For my younger we finished spelling in 6th (used SWO for years) and went to a vocab study. I used Amsco's Scholarship vocabulary program books I and half of II in 7th, will finish level II and do level III in 8th. Vocab from Classical Roots is another option. Janis in DE
My daughter is technically 6th, but will be doing 7th grade work. Video Text Algebra over 3 years with Life of Fred thrown in for some fun. I hope to do Modules A & B and 1/2 of LOF Algebra. We will do Math 4 days a week TOG 1 Redesigned Dialectic-really bumping her up with doing the questions, geography, and literature. 5 Days a week IEW Ancient History with some Writing Aids thrown in. Latin Prep Apologia General Science We are taking a year off from formal grammar. We will concentrate on Writing and Latin. I bought Analytical Grammar and we will do it in two year for 8th & 9th. We do a TOG co-op everyother week. She will have an election unit the first half of the year and art the second half. I think that is about it. She takes Tennis lessons twice a week. Oh, I also bought Money Matters for kids and she will probably do that and typing practice a couple of times a week. Janis in DE

Julie in MN
I can't believe my youngest will be in 7th! It's fun seeing everyone's options. Most subjects: MFW, finishing Exploration to 1850 (including Story of the World 3) and then start 1850 to Modern (including SOTW-4 plus the activity guide) Science: Rainbow Science, since we have it & my active/baby of the family ds will like it better than a more textbooky approach English: Progeny Press, start with a fun one & then do a history one Grammar basics with All-In-One English Finish Writing Strands 5 & possibly start 6 Math: Singapore 6, hopefully increase independence by using the MFW schedule himself? Seriously considering a little computer programming course Spanish: Finish Divertida 2 & do Divertida 3 Multiple other Spanish things we have :o) Probably drop French Co-op: Thinking about speech or drama? Or ds wants a cooking class!
