Wabi Sabi
We have a new kitten and the kids had a hard time deciding whether to name her Gloria, Frances or Marion (all names they came up with.) They eventually settled on Gloria and it's really a cute name for the kitty.
catz
Cleo-cat-ra - I have a daughter here dying to use that on a girly little kitten. :D

Teachin'Mine
She's beautiful!!!!! I like Lovebug too - or Lovey for short. Precious also comes to mind. Kitty does too. I'm not very good at this.
Starr
We have a sweet cat that looked like that once. She was a fat kitten and her name was gradually changed to "pooch" Once in a while I meet someone whose dog is called pooch and I have to laugh. happypamama
Oh, she's a cutie! I agree with the PP that said she looks like she could be a Lily. (Our kitten is Molly, fwiw, officially "Molly Pitcher Fuzzball Lastname.")

Night Elf
We named ours Buttercup a few weeks ago. She's such a nut! That's funny. One of the kittens we were looking at was named Butternut :) Dd19 is compiling a list but so far she hasn't heard that ONE that just clicks. I told her she better name the kitten before we go to the vet on Tuesday. They would put No Name on the card and would call her Noname (no nah mee). :D
Night Elf
Update: Dd19, after all the angst of naming her kitten, has decided to keep the name that the foster family chose, Emmy. It's a cute name but I really liked some of the other choices we had. I had a cat named Emma once and called her Emmy. I told my dd that I wouldn't be bothered with the name, but each time I hear it, I get a twinge. I'll have to get used to that name!
Teachin'Mine
Emmy is a wonderful name! Amazing that both you and your daughter have had an Emmy to love. :001_smile:
Brigitte
We have an Emmy, too. She is a diluted tortie/tabbie and is a very sweet cat. Emmy the Lovebug I think is a great name for a cat.....
Desert Rat
My kitty was named Zoey. She passed away last year. We also had a kitty named Maggie (Sugar Magnolia for Grateful Dead fans). Both were great names.
