PiCO
I found out about a month ago that she had cancer. Now she's dying. It's OK if it's her time to go, she's 84 and has had a wonderful life. But her son (my dh) died of cancer 5 years ago and it pisses me off that she has to die of cancer also. Cancer sucks! Now I get to tell my kids. Send good thoughts my way/ pray for me if you feel so moved.

PiCO
:grouphug: Pam. I'm so sorry. I will be praying for you, your dds, and your MIL. :grouphug: MIL is Catholic. We lit a candle for her in a huge church in Rome recently. I hope I get there in time to tell her- she will really appreciate it.
Laurie4b
I pray that there will be enough time for the good-byes you would like to say.
Luckymama
Cancer indeed sucks. I am so very sorry. My mother died last year of ovarian cancer (after 17 months). It was harder to tell my kids that she had cancer, than when I had to tell them she was dying. My mother's Catholic faith was very strong so that helped in telling the kids.
